My hubby really likes [name_f]Ava[/name_f] and [name_f]Emma[/name_f]. I think they are too popular. What are some alternatives?
He’s already said no to [name_f]Emmaline[/name_f] and doesn’t really like [name_f]Ada[/name_f].
We are having twin girls, so the name needs to flow with [name_u]Harper[/name_u]. I really like [name_f]Brynn[/name_f], but I don’t think he is on board.
We also both like [name_f]Noelle[/name_f], but that girls are due in [name_f]May[/name_f].
There are some [name_f]Ava[/name_f] variations – such as [name_f]Avalyn[/name_f], [name_f]Avalon[/name_f], Avaline, [name_f]Evalyn[/name_f]. Though I am far more a fan of just [name_f]Ava[/name_f]. A lot of similar feeling names in this vein are very popular right now. [name_f]Veda[/name_f] (vai-da) is one I’ve been throwing out there as well.
[name_f]Maya[/name_f] and [name_f]Lila[/name_f] have the same beautiful simplicity that I haven’t heard as much.
[name_u]Emerson[/name_u]? A coworker of mine has two daughters named [name_u]Harper[/name_u] and [name_u]Emerson[/name_u]. Also, I think [name_f]Noelle[/name_f] has drifted more into “name” territory as opposed to word name. I don’t think it’s odd for a [name_f]Noelle[/name_f] to born any time of year. People don’t seem to think that [name_f]Natalie[/name_f] should be born in [name_u]December[/name_u], so why should [name_f]Noelle[/name_f] be any different.
[name_f]Ava[/name_f] makes me think of:
[name_f]Maya[/name_f]
[name_f]Lana[/name_f]
[name_f]Alexa[/name_f]
[name_f]Mila[/name_f]
[name_f]Lola[/name_f]
[name_f]Greta[/name_f]
[name_f]Malia[/name_f]
[name_f]Emma[/name_f] makes me think of:
[name_f]Lucy[/name_f]
[name_f]Leah[/name_f]
[name_f]Eloise[/name_f]
[name_f]Alice[/name_f]
[name_f]Molly[/name_f]
[name_f]Elise[/name_f]
[name_f]Erin[/name_f]
Sound of [name_f]Noelle[/name_f] ([name_u]Christmas[/name_u] aside) makes me think of:
[name_f]Faye[/name_f]
[name_f]Maggie[/name_f]
[name_f]Nina[/name_f]
[name_f]Tara[/name_f]
[name_u]Aspen[/name_u]
[name_u]Brooke[/name_u]
So I personally love:
[name_f]Lola[/name_f] and [name_f]Eloise[/name_f]
[name_f]Mila[/name_f] and [name_f]Alice[/name_f]
[name_f]Faye[/name_f] and [name_f]Greta[/name_f]
I could go on! ”
Have you considered hyphenating them? [name_f]Ava[/name_f]-[name_f]Sophia[/name_f] and [name_f]Emma[/name_f]-[name_f]Grace[/name_f] or [name_f]Ava[/name_f]-[name_f]Valentina[/name_f] and [name_f]Emma[/name_f]-Marienne, or whatever you like. That way they get more distinctive first names, and you get to use more names that you like.
