I love this site, and have found solace in it as I frantically troll websites searching for baby names. I’m due in 6 weeks with my second, and we’re having such a hard time with boy names (we don’t know the sex). Our son’s name is [name]Arlo[/name] [name]Isaac[/name]. I fell in love with the name [name]Arlo[/name] early on in my pregnancy- though my husband needed time to come around to it. I love classic, strong yet soft male names, but it’s so hard finding ones that aren’t overused. We decided soon after I got pregnant that if it was a girl, we’d name her [name]June[/name]. So far I’m not feeling the love for any of the boy names on our list that I felt with [name]Arlo[/name]- but I’m trying. Here’s what we’re working with so far, but I’d love some other ideas!
[name]Felix[/name]- This name has grown on me, but I get the sense it could be trendy?
[name]Judah[/name]- I love the sound of this name, but worry that’s too biblical.
[name]Moses[/name]- I love the sound of this name, but it’s a pretty BIG name
[name]Hugo[/name]- I really like this name but there’s a bar in our town with this name and I feel like that’s all anyone around here will think of
[name]Noah[/name]- We’ve both always loved this name. It has the perfect sound and feel, but is just too common now.
[name]Leon[/name]- my favorite- but my husband hates it.
