Need First Name for Middle Name

[name_f]My[/name_f] husband loves the name Quartermain, and I am trying to find a name to go with it. The last name starts with an “ah” sound, two syllables, rhymes with “kiss”…Here are the names on my short list. Opinions on these would be much appreciated, as would any names that come to mind that would work nicely.
[name_m]Clay[/name_m], [name_m]David[/name_m], [name_u]Dean[/name_u], [name_m]Leo[/name_m] (short for [name_m]Leonardo[/name_m]), [name_m]Luke[/name_m], [name_m]Nathaniel[/name_m], [name_m]Nicholas[/name_m], [name_u]Owen[/name_u], [name_u]Ray[/name_u]

[name_m]Clay[/name_m] is the winner

Big fan of [name_u]Dean[/name_u].

I vote [name_m]David[/name_m], [name_m]Nathaniel[/name_m] is my personal fave but I find it to be a bit of a mouthful with the middle name.

[name_m]David[/name_m], [name_u]Dean[/name_u], and [name_u]Ray[/name_u] are my favorites. They all are good names and sound good with quartermain. I am extra partial to [name_m]David[/name_m], it is a great classic name but you never see any little Davids on the playground.

I love using a surname as a second or first! <3
Quartermain has an outdoor-sy feel to me. I think that is why I like Owen the best amongst those names. To me Owen sounds like a strong breath of clean air.

gl in your name search!

[name_m]Just[/name_m] an update-our little boy was born in [name_f]May[/name_f], and at the last moment we decided on a first name that hadn’t even been in the running. His name is [name_m]Sean[/name_m] Quartermain @udis.
