Need Fresh Ideas!

Have been in [name_f]Love[/name_f] with the name [name_f]Nora[/name_f] ! However I’m still not sure if it’s “the one”–Looking for opinions on if [name_f]Nora[/name_f] [name_m]Lewis[/name_m] sounds good and also looking for new names to add to the list. I love names with vintage charm and ones that sound cute on a little girl but also sound graceful and elegant on a grown woman! Please help !

Nora can also be spelled Norah if that would help put a fresh spin on it for you. Is Lewis your ln? Here are some other suggestions with possible nn options…
Lydia “Liddie”
Amelia “Ami”
Eleanor “Ellie/Ella”
Caroline
Lilian “Lily”
Willa
Evelyn “Eve/Evie”
Madeleine “Maddy”
Evangeline “Eva/Angel”
Catherine “Cat/Cathy/Caty”

[name_f]Nora[/name_f] is a respectable name that sounds pleasant alongside [name_m]Lewis[/name_m]. Like you, I imagine the moniker aging well.

Here are some others for purpose of inspiration:
[name_f]Iris[/name_f]
[name_f]Clara[/name_f]
[name_f]May[/name_f]
[name_f]Stella[/name_f]
[name_f]Isla[/name_f]
[name_f]Cara[/name_f]
[name_f]Serena[/name_f]
[name_f]Lana[/name_f]

Best of luck finding a name to love!

[name_f]Love[/name_f] [name_f]Nora[/name_f]. [name_f]Nora[/name_f] [name_m]Lewis[/name_m] is fine. [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] [name_m]Lewis[/name_m] nn [name_f]Nora[/name_f] works too. Some others:
[name_f]Cora[/name_f]
[name_f]Audrey[/name_f]
[name_u]Ruby[/name_u]
[name_f]Hazel[/name_f]
[name_f]Harriet[/name_f]/[name_f]Hattie[/name_f]
[name_f]Etta[/name_f]
[name_f]Mabel[/name_f]
[name_f]Eloise[/name_f]
[name_f]Sylvia[/name_f]/[name_f]Sylvie[/name_f]
[name_f]Margot[/name_f]
[name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] nn [name_f]Evie[/name_f]
[name_f]Vivienne[/name_f] nn [name_f]Vivie[/name_f]
[name_f]Tessa[/name_f]

[name_m]Lewis[/name_m] is our LN – I guess I’m just concerned it sounds too short or Unfinished? I love [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] but DH doesn’t.

[name_f]Nora[/name_f] was on our short list for 2 babies. Also on the list was [name_f]Rose[/name_f] and the 2 names we went with, [name_f]Maeve[/name_f] and [name_f]Mira[/name_f]. I loved [name_f]Mira[/name_f] because it was phonetically similar to [name_f]Norah[/name_f], but it had a bit more flair. Something for you to consider! I always thought [name_f]Kate[/name_f] was a similar style to [name_f]Norah[/name_f] as well.

[name_f]Nora[/name_f] [name_m]Lewis[/name_m]
[name_f]Norah[/name_f] [name_m]Lewis[/name_m]

Does it sound unfinished ? Or too short ?

Also considering :

[name_f]Elsa[/name_f] / [name_f]Elsie[/name_f]
[name_f]Hazel[/name_f] (family name, afraid it doesn’t work well with last name)
[name_f]Eliette[/name_f]

Well, if you want something longer with the nn [name_f]Nora[/name_f], maybe [name_f]Annora[/name_f]? I don’t think [name_f]Nora[/name_f]/[name_f]Norah[/name_f] [name_m]Lewis[/name_m] sounds unfinished at all. It might just seem that way to you if you normally prefer longer names. I think [name_f]Elsa[/name_f] is really cute. Is [name_f]Eliette[/name_f] a feminization of [name_u]Elliot[/name_u]? I don’t think I’ve heard of it before.

Is [name_f]Eliette[/name_f] a feminization of [name_u]Elliot[/name_u]? I don’t think I’ve heard of it before.[/QUOTE]

I had picked [name_u]Elliot[/name_u] as a boys name and DH liked it as a girls name. I was looking for different variations of spelling to make it more feminine and came across [name_f]Eliette[/name_f]-- it is a come [name_m]French[/name_m] girls name (supposedly) and I like the way it looks and sounds. Nn [name_f]Ellie[/name_f]

Looking for other names to add to list !

Out of
[name_f]Norah[/name_f] [name_m]Lewis[/name_m]
[name_f]Elsa[/name_f] [name_m]Lewis[/name_m]
Elliette [name_m]Lewis[/name_m]

Which name flows/ sounds the best to you ??

I love [name_f]Nora[/name_f] (biased because I have a [name_f]Nora[/name_f]). I also [name_f]LOVE[/name_f] [name_f]Vera[/name_f] (I’d use that if it wasn’t TOO close to [name_f]Nora[/name_f]), [name_f]Nova[/name_f]…

Other suggestions that might fit your taste:
[name_f]Eliza[/name_f]
[name_u]Evelyn[/name_u]
[name_f]Isla[/name_f]
[name_u]Vivian[/name_u]
[name_f]Hazel[/name_f]
[name_f]Etta[/name_f]
