I am due [name]July[/name] 6 with my second girl. I was getting close to choosing a name. However, I have done a complete redo. I am looking for a name that is uncommon and feminine without being overly ‘flowery’, I guess you can say. Something that will compliment [name]Cadence[/name] and is almost as ‘unique’. Her middle name will be [name]Claire[/name] (I am not a fan of [name]Claire[/name] either but it’s getting to that point I am even considering using it). I’ve even considered using [name]Katniss[/name] (Not ENTIRELY because of Hunger Games) or [name]Persephone[/name]. She has two half-siblings, [name]Nathaniel[/name] and [name]Alana[/name].
That comes to a lot of people’s minds because of the musical association. I’ve tried it out and it’s too flowery for my taste. Plus, I am trying to avoid A names. I’ve thought of [name]Harper[/name] as well.
Too bad you’re avoiding A names, I think there are a lot of them that sound lovely with [name]Cadence[/name] ([name]Aubrey[/name], [name]Arianna[/name], [name]Alexis[/name]…)
[name]How[/name] about [name]Lyra[/name]? It’s uncommon and feminine. Compliments [name]Cadence[/name] and is unique. Since you considered [name]Katniss[/name], I assume you’re looking for a name that might invoke courage and strength of character… and the character [name]Lyra[/name] in The [name]Golden[/name] Compass was just that.
