Love [name_u]Hollis[/name_u] [name_u]Rune[/name_u]! I also like [name_u]Sage[/name_u] [name_f]Josephine[/name_f]! All the names are honestly very nice and solid choices!
My family has B.J. running through it. It’s never been a problem or a concern, nor has there been flack from it. And, yes, we do know what it stands for. I don’t think it’s as big of a deal as people make it out to be.
Wow! Nice names. [name_f]My[/name_f] favs:
[name_u]Sage[/name_u] [name_f]Josephine[/name_f]
[name_u]Hollis[/name_u] [name_u]Rune[/name_u]
[name_u]Blair[/name_u] [name_m]Hawthorne[/name_m]
[name_u]Raven[/name_u] [name_f]Nicole[/name_f]
[name_f]Ophelia[/name_f] [name_f]Mae[/name_f]
The [name_u]Sage[/name_u] and [name_u]Hollis[/name_u] combos are stunning. I like [name_u]Hollis[/name_u] [name_f]Mae[/name_f] also, if you’re open to mix and matching.
Thank you so much, vough! We’ve been lurking and brainstorming name combos for a while; it’s hard to get rid of any! Also, [name_u]Hollis[/name_u] [name_f]Mae[/name_f] sounds really pretty - especially if they go by [name_u]Holly[/name_u] as a nickname.
Edit- Based on replies though, it seems like Sage is in first, Ophelia is in second, Blair barely edges out Hollis in third, Hollis in fourth, and Raven in last. We’re gonna drop Raven out of the possibilities.
I like all of them, but I think [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f] and [name_u]Hollis[/name_u] have the best flow with [name_u]Jackson[/name_u]. Of the two I like [name_u]Hollis[/name_u]- it’s more unexpected, unisex, and spunky.
For the others, [name_u]Raven[/name_u] has the same ending sound as [name_u]Jackson[/name_u], and [name_u]Sage[/name_u] ends with the j sound, which makes pronouncing the two names together a little awkward. [name_u]Blair[/name_u] is ok, but doesn’t flow as well as the two syllable names.
Thank you so much for your detailed insight! After seeing yours and everyone else’s replies, we’re most likely going to go with [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f] [name_f]Mae[/name_f] for a girl, and [name_u]Hollis[/name_u] [name_u]Rune[/name_u] for a boy!
