We have some names we like, but can’t really find a good combo or decision on middle name. Any suggestions?
top first names are… (also to be used as middle name)
[name]Rowan[/name]
[name]Myra[/name]
[name]Rose[/name]
and possibly [name]Lucy[/name]
Possible middle names…
[name]Charlotte[/name]
[name]Bronwyn[/name]
but could use more
Would [name]LOVE[/name] a dutch middle names as I’m dutch and it would mean something special to me
Madelief (my favorite! is a small daisy in [name]Holland[/name])
[name]Ilse[/name]
lieke
[name]Eline[/name]
To make thing more complicated, I’m due on 23 of Dec if baby is born on one of the special days I would love to have the middle name relefect that or even posible add it as a third name
I absolutely love Madelief! I think it’s so adorable. So fun to say, too. If I was part Dutch, I’d try and be brave and just use Madelief, but I think it makes a great MN, too. I like [name]Rowan[/name] Madelief or [name]Lucy[/name] Madelief best, but would love to see [name]Eloise[/name] Madelief or [name]Winter[/name] Madelief (nn [name]Winnie[/name]?) or [name]Aurora[/name] Madelief, for a New Years’ baby. [name]Grace[/name] Madelief would be stunning, too.
Have you considered Arianntje? I was talking to someone else on another naming site, and she wanted to honor her Dutch heritage, and Arianntje was her favorite option (or maybe it was spelled Ariaantje?). Either way, I really love it. Then again, it’s probably because it reminds me of [name]Arianne[/name], which is my second pick for a girl. I think [name]Grace[/name] Arianntje or [name]Lucy[/name] Arianntje would be gorgeous.
[name]Love[/name] the suggestion [name]Rowan[/name] Madelief, but almost think it needs third name as our last name initials are MK
Would [name]Rowan[/name] [name]Rose[/name] (especially considering that there is a big possibility that she is going to be a little ginger baby) or [name]Rose[/name] [name]Myra[/name] be to much?
I would automatically be fitting my choice with Madelief in the middle name position. I think you love Madelief more than your first name picks, so that makes it a priority. Now let’s review those four options.
[name]Rowan[/name] Madelief (I do not like the gender neutral [name]Rowan[/name] with a more obscure middle name, nothing really tips it to the feminine zone.)
[name]Myra[/name] Madelief (the matching initials does not bother me in this case)
[name]Rose[/name] Madelief (although now you have [name]Rose[/name] and [name]Daisy[/name] in one name)
[name]Lucy[/name] Madelief (I like this one too)
So that leaves me with [name]Myra[/name] Madelief and [name]Lucy[/name] Madelief. And of the two I think you’d prefer [name]Myra[/name] Madelief so I vote for that.
