We are due in mid [name_f]October[/name_f] and still don’t have a girl’s name. If it’s a boy, it will be [name_u]Asa[/name_u] [name_u]Rex[/name_u]. Girl names we like are [name_f]Ada[/name_f], [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f], [name_f]Annie[/name_f], or [name_f]Agnes[/name_f]. Which is your favorite? Middle name most likely [name_f]Louise[/name_f].
I like the sound of [name_f]Ada[/name_f] [name_f]Louise[/name_f]. Also if you like [name_u]Asa[/name_u] for a boy I’d say go with [name_f]Ada[/name_f] for a girl. Good luck
I like either [name_f]Ada[/name_f] or [name_f]Annie[/name_f] best with [name_f]Louise[/name_f]. If you think you might want to use [name_u]Asa[/name_u] for a future son, I’d go with [name_f]Annie[/name_f], just because [name_f]Ada[/name_f] and [name_u]Asa[/name_u] is way too matchy for siblings [name_f]IMO[/name_f]. But otherwise, I don’t think you can go wrong with either.
[name_f]Ada[/name_f] is my favorite! [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] is also nice. Not a huge fan of [name_f]Agnes[/name_f].
[name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] or [name_f]Annie[/name_f] gets my vote. The others don’t appeal to me.
I say [name_f]Ada[/name_f] or [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f]! I agree that intuitively, [name_f]Ada[/name_f] seems like the equivalent of [name_u]Asa[/name_u]. But I like that [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] offers a more substantial name option.
If you want to keep [name_u]Asa[/name_u] as an option for a future son, the I don’t recommend [name_f]Ada[/name_f] or [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f]. [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] could get shortened to either [name_u]Ade[/name_u] or [name_f]Ada[/name_f] ([name_f]Addie[/name_f]'s not a problem but you can’t guarantee it). I also don’t recommend [name_f]Agnes[/name_f] because, again, it seems too similar to [name_u]Asa[/name_u].
[name_f]Louise[/name_f] [name_f]Annie[/name_f] would be such a fantastic name! After that I recommend [name_f]Annie[/name_f] [name_f]Louise[/name_f].
[name_f]Ada[/name_f] [name_f]Louise[/name_f] sounds magical!
Congratulations!
I like [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] [name_f]Louise[/name_f], personally. I think it has a nice ring to it, and I just happen to like ornate names (and the possibility of nn [name_f]Addie[/name_f]).
I love [name_f]Ada[/name_f], [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f], and [name_f]Annie[/name_f]. As previous posters’ have mentioned, [name_f]Annie[/name_f] might be best if you plan on using [name_u]Asa[/name_u] later. But I think [name_f]Ada[/name_f] [name_f]Louise[/name_f] sounds and flows best.
I love [name_f]Ada[/name_f] [name_f]Louise[/name_f], but I think that [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] or [name_f]Annie[/name_f] [name_f]Louise[/name_f] are better options if you want to use [name_u]Asa[/name_u] in the future. Not a huge fan of [name_f]Agnes[/name_f].
I love the name [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f]! Pretty, not too common, but not so unusual that people can’t figure out how to spell or pronounce it. We get compliments on my daughter [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f]'s name all the time. Plus, you have the option of nickname [name_f]Ada[/name_f]–a two-for-one deal on your favorite names!!
Yes, you might not want to have an [name_u]Asa[/name_u] and an [name_f]Ada[/name_f] in the house but there are so many other great nicknames for [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f]! I don’t think it’d be too hard to steer people in the direction of [name_f]Addie[/name_f], [name_f]Heidi[/name_f], Lady, or [name_f]Della[/name_f], for example, if you do end up having a son named [name_u]Asa[/name_u] one day. (Our [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] still goes by her full name, so I can’t speak from experience on that).
[name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] and [name_f]Agnes[/name_f]
Congratulations!
I think [name_f]Ada[/name_f] [name_f]Louise[/name_f] sounds the best, however if you plan on using [name_u]Asa[/name_u] for any possible future children, I would avoid [name_f]Ada[/name_f], since they sound so similar. My favourite name out of the ones you listed is [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f], but I think [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] [name_f]Louise[/name_f] is too “L” heavy (too much “L” sound). I do like [name_f]Annie[/name_f], but only as a nickname, though it does sound nice with [name_f]Louise[/name_f]. I like the name [name_f]Agnes[/name_f], however, the transition from [name_f]Agnes[/name_f] to [name_f]Louise[/name_f] is a bit strange (it doesn’t roll of my tongue, at least). [name_f]Hope[/name_f] this helped! Sorry if it didn’t!
[name_f]Annie[/name_f] [name_f]Louise[/name_f] is beautiful!
[name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] could go by [name_f]Ada[/name_f]!
If you’re saving [name_u]Asa[/name_u] for a boy though I vote [name_f]Annie[/name_f]
I’ve fallen head over heels in love with [name_f]Ada[/name_f] lately, and [name_f]Ada[/name_f] [name_f]Louise[/name_f] just sounds so lovely and wearable for so many personalities. My vote would go to [name_f]Ada[/name_f] [name_f]Louise[/name_f].
(Or [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f], with the nickname [name_f]Ada[/name_f]).
[name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] is my favorite but I think [name_f]Ada[/name_f] [name_f]Louise[/name_f] sounds better than [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] [name_f]Louise[/name_f].
