[name]Stella[/name] - Short, spunky, old fashioned. Ends in A, great meaning. Sometimes I find it a bit harsh and not as sweet as I would like. Also find the “ST” beginning sound a bit annoying to say at times. Kinda slurs together
[name]Lucy[/name] - nn [name]LuLu[/name]. [name]Brand[/name] new addition! Fun, sweet, and pretty. Does it sound plain or boring as a little sis for Violet?
[name]Tessa[/name] - nn [name]Tess[/name]. Very soft, sweet, and pretty. Does this name sound plain, boring, or too modern as a little sis to Violet?
[name]Audrey[/name] - brand new addition to the list. Sophisticated and Classy but maybe lacks a bit of fun?
[name]Eloise[/name] - vintage and sweet. Nn [name]Elle[/name] and [name]LuLu[/name]. Adorable, might be a mouthful for me…ideally want an easy to say, 2 syllable name
[name]Matilda[/name] - nn [name]Tilly[/name]. Super spunky and charming. Might be a bit clunky
I love them all but big thing is to find a name that matches violet nicely. I want a lot of spunk and character while still being pretty.
[name]Stella[/name] - this name has grown on me lately; pairs nicely with [name]Violet[/name]
[name]Lucy[/name] - Very cute; goes very well with [name]Violet[/name]
[name]Tessa[/name] - I think this is a decent name, but it feels like the wrong vintage or pairing with [name]Violet[/name] to me
[name]Audrey[/name] - Really like [name]Audrey[/name]. Not quite as playful and spunky as [name]Violet[/name], [name]Stella[/name] and [name]Lucy[/name], but timeless and beautiful.
[name]Eloise[/name] - agree with your characterization: vintage and sweet; also pairs really well with [name]Violet[/name].
[name]Matilda[/name] - I love vintage names but I’m not quite ready to embrace [name]Matilda[/name] yet, much as I’d like to do so. [name]Tilly[/name] is a cute nn, but [name]Matilda[/name] still feels clunky, old and un-beautiful to me. [name]Camille[/name] isn’t quite like your other names, but it has a flower connection and I like [name]Milly[/name] as a nn.
[name]Lucy[/name]! I really love it. It’s sweet and fun all at the same time. I think it’s an adorable match with [name]Violet[/name]. My second choice would probably be [name]Eloise[/name] for the same reason, sweet and fun!
I can’t find anything wrong with any of these names. They’re all great with [name]Violet[/name], are sweet and spunky. A girl would be happy to have any of these names!

Our lists have a lot of crossover, and my husband likes [name]Eloise[/name] (I’m still deciding on that one). I would go with [name]Lucy[/name] or [name]Tessa[/name], personally. I don’t think any of them sound wrong with [name]Violet[/name], but I’m not a big fan of [name]Stella[/name] for the reason you stated, or [name]Matilda[/name].

[name]Eloise[/name] [name]Matilda[/name] and [name]Audrey[/name] are great but have a slightly heavier feel to me. [name]Lucy[/name] is very…ME. I can easily see myself with a daughter named [name]Lucy[/name] [name]Amelia[/name] nn [name]LuLu[/name]. [name]Tessa[/name] also feels natural and can see myself having a DD with this name as well. Same for [name]Eloise[/name] although it is a little long, it fits us. [name]Stella[/name] is a tiny bit out of my comfort zone as it isn’t as soft as I usually go for. Same for [name]Matilda[/name] and [name]Audrey[/name] is a little too buttoned u for me I think. But stella has so much sparkle it really appeals to the musical background/theater girl in me, haha. [name]Just[/name] some thoughts
