My wife and I have decided on naming our son [name]Clayton[/name] Crutchfield, however, we can not come up with a middle name that fits. We’d like to keep it in the French inspired names, as I am a French American, and she is Cajun. We’ve considered [name]Clayton[/name] [name]Alexandre[/name] Crutchfield, however, eight syllables is a touch too much.

You can give a middle initial (that’s right, not a name, but a letter!). That way it’s shorter on all legal documents, but you all know what it stands for.
The ones I think sound the best with the first and last name are:
[name]Philippe[/name]
[name]Nicolas[/name]
[name]Francis[/name]
[name]Fran[/name]”ois
[name]Samuel[/name]
[name]Olivier[/name]
C”dric
[name]Antoine[/name]
[name]How[/name] about :
[name]Armand[/name]
[name]Ambroise[/name]
[name]Luc[/name]
[name]Alphonse[/name]
[name]Amable[/name]
[name]Louis[/name].
I wouldn’t worry about having a long name - I know a few people with four or more middle names …
