First of all, I would like to THANK everyone in advance for their reply, comments, and suggestions.
Now onto the challenge…I’m Chinese and my last name is Ng, pronounced “ing” but spelled without the “i” in the front, so just “Ng”. I have found that most short names (single syllable) do not seem to go well.
We also have a lot of family, friends, coworkers with kids and trying to avoid names already used/taken.
Here’s what we have came up with so far:

I like [name]Connor[/name] from your list. I also like [name]Akira[/name] but I think the ‘a’ ending sounds a little funky with the last name Ng. I hear something similar to ‘a-key-ring’

I love the names [name]Theodore[/name], [name]Ezra[/name], [name]Ethan[/name] and [name]Akira[/name] from your list. I think the biggest challenge is finding the right flow with your last name. For example, I would avoid combos that sound like verbs like [name]Ethan[/name] Ng (ethaning), [name]Theodore[/name] Ng (theodoring, sounds lie adoring is in there). I personally don’t care for [name]Tyler[/name] or [name]Bradley[/name], reminds me of bullies I went to school with in the 80s. [name]Connor[/name] is a bit too yuppy/trendy for my tastes, also has the connoring problem.
I really like [name]Bradley[/name] Ng, but if he chooses to shorten it to [name]Brad[/name], I’m not a huge fan of [name]Brad[/name] Ng. I think [name]Theodore[/name] Ng (and [name]Theo[/name] Ng if he has a nickname) is your best bet. [name]Theodore[/name] [name]Ezra[/name] Ng is awesome!
I find names that end in -a or a schwa a little hard to say with Ng, so I’m not crazy about [name]Ezra[/name] and [name]Akira[/name] for you. My favorites are [name]Connor[/name], [name]Ethan[/name], and [name]Theodore[/name], although I agree with the pp who said “adoring” can be heard in [name]Theodore[/name] Ng. It’s not a bad word, though, so I still like it.
I second the suggestions of [name]Oliver[/name], [name]Vincent[/name], [name]Isaac[/name], and [name]Benjamin[/name], and I’ll throw in [name]Henry[/name], [name]Jeremy[/name], and [name]Nathaniel[/name].

My wife and I read through all of the posts but still haven’t found a name that we consider a “lock in” but we’re glad to see a lot of you like [name]Connor[/name], that just might be the one.
From the suggestions thus far, we like [name]Dominic[/name], [name]Nathaniel[/name], [name]Callahan[/name], and [name]Oliver[/name]. There are others we like but have friends/family with kids that have the same name.
