Need help liking a name again!

We have 3 months to go still but it’s been back and forth since we found out she was a girl! I still like [name]Jane[/name], [name]Lydia[/name], [name]Hattie[/name], and [name]Dara[/name] but my husband suggested [name]Norah[/name] which was our top girls name when we were expecting our first ( but we had a boy) He still loves it, and none of the others are feeling right yet. I was in love with it once to but I’ve since met the most obnoxious [name]Nora[/name] you can imagine. She’s the only one I know so it’s had to disassociate with her. Is it possible to get past the negative connection? I don’t see her often. I need help liking it again!

Well, for starters, it seems like that negative [name]Nora[/name] is spelled without an ‘H’ and the your husband’s love is spelled with. So even adding the "h’ can distance you a little bit.

It can be hard to leave behind a bad connection with a name but just remember that you’ll be totaly in love with your [name]Norah[/name] and she’ll be the one to turn that name around for you!

Well all I can say is my [name]MIL[/name] is named [name]Nora[/name] and she is the sweetest, most helpful, genuine, person I’ve ever met.

I’ve met several [name]Nora[/name]'s, all under 12 and they’re all really cute & sweet & funny. I recommend you watch the movie about [name]James[/name] [name]Joyce[/name] & his wife [name]Nora[/name] Barnacle, I believe it’s even called “[name]Nora[/name]”. That’s the sort of thing that can make me love a name again.

I’m going to look up that movie! I need to picture my own little dark haired blue eyed girl and not the blonde one who screeches and breaks things.

Listen to [name]Norah[/name] [name]Jones[/name]?
I love [name]Nora[/name] for 'A [name]Doll[/name]‘s House’ by [name]Henrik[/name] [name]Ibsen[/name].
