Need help naming Baby Woolridge

This is in baby names and I’m Re-posting this under boys names too, sorry.

I’m due in [name]April[/name] with my 1st baby, a BOY (so excited) and i need help…
here are my problems
*I don’t love boy names
*want something not over used (mike, john, joe, etc)
*and it needs to flow with the last name, WOOLRIDGE.

Hubby’s MN is [name]Andrew[/name] and i’m good with using that somewhere -first or middle- and the only one he agrees on

Hubby likes: [name]Andrew[/name] [name]Lloyd[/name] …his name in reverse (and his “compromise” to [name]Rambo[/name] or Sparticus; no he isn’t taking this naming thing serious)

I Like: [name]Jameson[/name]
[name]Dylan[/name]
[name]Jaxson[/name]
[name]Andrew[/name] nn [name]Drew[/name] if FN

MN [name]Nicolas[/name] (my mn is [name]Nicole[/name])

Girls names i like are
[name]Lydia[/name]
[name]Adelynn[/name]
[name]Coraline[/name]
[name]Liana[/name]
Aila (Ay-la)
[name]Leila[/name]

any help is appreciated, THANK YOU

[name]Just[/name] want to point out that [name]Andrew[/name] [name]Lloyd[/name] Woolridge, sounds a little like [name]Andrew[/name] [name]Lloyd[/name] [name]Webber[/name] the composer. Not a bad thing though.

I like [name]Andrew[/name] and [name]Dylan[/name] from your list! [name]Jaxson[/name] is too trendy and seems low class to me. [name]Jackson[/name] would be a little better. [name]Jameson[/name] is fine, but not my cup of tea.

[name]Andrew[/name] [name]Lloyd[/name] [name]Webber[/name] is a famous English composer and impresario of musical theatre so I don’t know if that combo is advisable. Plus, [name]Andrew[/name]/[name]Drew[/name] Woolridge have back-to-back w’s which don’t sound the best. [name]Andrew[/name] is a fine Biblical name but it is overused (No# 16 most popular boys name in the US last year - that’s 13,152 boys) which doesn’t meet your second requirement. Here are my thoughts on your other names.

[name]Jameson[/name] - This would be ok but I think [name]James[/name] Woolridge sounds better. Again, [name]James[/name] may be too common for you.
[name]Dylan[/name] - OK but popular
[name]Jaxson[/name] - Trendy and popular
[name]Andrew[/name] nn [name]Drew[/name] if FN - see my comments on this name above

With [name]Nicolas[/name] as a middle name, I would avoid a first name ending in “n” or “s” so I suggest these names that are not in the top 100…

[name]Vincent[/name]
[name]Micah[/name]
[name]Milo[/name]
[name]Jesse[/name]
[name]Grant[/name]
[name]Jude[/name] (love)
[name]George[/name]
[name]Trevor[/name]
[name]Seth[/name]
[name]Peter[/name]
[name]Zane[/name]
[name]Spencer[/name]
[name]Xander[/name]
[name]Graham[/name]
[name]Jared[/name]
[name]Gregory[/name]
[name]Jasper[/name]
[name]Felix[/name]
[name]Philip[/name]
[name]August[/name]
[name]Dexter[/name]
[name]Walter[/name]
[name]Tate[/name]
[name]Abram[/name]
[name]Lawrence[/name]
[name]Pierce[/name]
[name]Malcolm[/name]
[name]Asa[/name]
[name]Cedric[/name]
[name]Conrad[/name]
[name]Callum[/name]
[name]Heath[/name]
[name]Fletcher[/name]
[name]Brice[/name]/[name]Bryce[/name]
[name]Hugh[/name]

Girls

[name]Lydia[/name] - A classic name from the Bible that works well with your surname.
[name]Adelynn[/name] - trendy. Why not [name]Adelaide[/name] or [name]Adeline[/name]? These names have depth and history.
[name]Coraline[/name] - I like this name but it’s still strongly association with the children’s book by the same name.
[name]Liana[/name] - Pretty and it goes well with your surname.
Aila (Ay-la) - This name is usually spelled [name]Ayla[/name]. Not my fave.
[name]Leila[/name] - Sweet and beautiful. [name]Leila[/name] Woolridge would be a little heavy on the l’s.

[name]Lyle[/name]
[name]Conrad[/name]
[name]Adlai[/name]
[name]Lyon[/name]
[name]Jude[/name]
[name]Leo[/name]
[name]Josiah[/name]
[name]Desmond[/name]
[name]Dean[/name]

I like [name]Dylan[/name] and [name]Andrew[/name] but agree that they’re way too popular, assuming that’s something you care about.

I second the suggestions of [name]Seth[/name], [name]Spencer[/name], [name]Tate[/name], and [name]Callum[/name]–they all sound great with your last name. Also, you could always use [name]Nicolas[/name] or [name]Nico[/name] in the first name spot.

Girls:

I [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Coraline[/name] and Aila. [name]Lydia[/name] and [name]Liana[/name] are pretty too.

[name]Jameson[/name] - Nice enough, but it does make me think of [name]Jameson[/name] Whiskey. It’s not as if the whiskey is the only association out there for the name [name]Jameson[/name], though, so I don’t think that would be a huge problem. I think that [name]Jameson[/name] Woolridge probably sounds the best out of these as a combination to my ear.
[name]Dylan[/name] - Nice! I like this one.
[name]Jaxson[/name] - I would like [name]Jackson[/name], but [name]Jaxson[/name] looks really unappealing to me. If you’re going to spell it this way, it that S even necessary? I just tried to sound this out pronouncing all of the letters and it wasn’t very natural. I like [name]Jackson[/name], but [name]Jaxson[/name] is definitely my least favorite from this list.
[name]Andrew[/name] nn [name]Drew[/name] - I like this a lot, but I agree that the W sound at the end of [name]Andrew[/name] and [name]Drew[/name] doesn’t sound great with the W at the beginning of Woolridge. I love that it’s a family name, though.

Maybe …

[name]Anderson[/name] (Combining the -son ending that you seem to like with [name]Andrew[/name]?)
[name]Lachlan[/name]
[name]Sullivan[/name]
[name]Donovan[/name]
[name]Atticus[/name]
[name]Breccan[/name]
[name]Declan[/name]
[name]Thatcher[/name]
[name]Kieran[/name]
[name]Beckett[/name]
[name]Cameron[/name]
[name]Milo[/name]
[name]Logan[/name]
[name]Kennett[/name]
[name]Griffin[/name]
[name]Finn[/name]
[name]Callaway[/name]
[name]Dashiell[/name]
[name]Ellison[/name] / [name]Ellington[/name]

[name]Andrew[/name] [name]Nicolas[/name] gets my vote! Although I like [name]Nicholas[/name] better.

You have a nice last name, take advantage of it. Here are some ideas that I like…

[name]Fletcher[/name] Woolridge
[name]Everett[/name] Woolridge
[name]Abram[/name] Woolridge
[name]Gage[/name] Woolridge

I think we settled on [name]Andrew[/name] [name]Nicolas[/name] Woolridge, unless we see him and decide differently.
