Need help naming Johnny and Claire's sibling!

[name]Hi[/name], my name is [name]Bridget[/name] and my husband is [name]Joe[/name]. We have a handsome 4 year old son [name]Johnny[/name] who is soon to be the big brother of twins! I’m due in about 2 months and have no idea as far as names go. We’re expecting a boy and a girl. Our girls name is [name]Claire[/name], and although middle names aren’t set in stone for either gender they will likely be family names, preferably one from each side. [name]Claire[/name] has been my favorite girls name forever and my husband likes it too so it was a no brainer and [name]John[/name] (Called [name]Johnny[/name] or [name]John[/name]-[name]John[/name] 100% of the time) honors my husbands favorite uncle and I love that we don’t know many other young [name]Johnny[/name]'s.

Anywyas, These are the names we like so far:

[name]Henry[/name] - A top contender however I’m worried about popularity, personally I don’t know any, however I feel like I hear it more and more now? Something to worry about?
[name]Patrick[/name] - My brothers name, so I don’t want to repeat first names so it’s out.
[name]Dylan[/name] - is it dated?
[name]James[/name] - [name]Love[/name] this name but I’d really prefer to not repeat initials
[name]Charlie[/name] - [name]Don[/name]'t want to use [name]Charles[/name] but I don’t feel like [name]Charlie[/name] is a stand alone name so it’s out, plus the repeating C initial
[name]Ben[/name] - husband hates [name]Benjamin[/name] and [name]Bennett[/name] and don’t wanna use just [name]Ben[/name]
[name]Beckett[/name] - Sounds weird with our very Italian last name
[name]Emmett[/name] - I like but I just don’t know, thoughts?
[name]Jeremiah[/name] - husband loves but I don’t
[name]Bryce[/name] - Kind of sounds weird with our last name but I can deal with it, what do you think?
[name]Malcolm[/name] - I like but don’t love, husband not sure
[name]Brady[/name] - Like but just not sure

So yeah, SUGGESTIONS would be lovely! & any comments on [name]Henry[/name], [name]Dylan[/name], [name]Emmett[/name], [name]Bryce[/name], [name]Malcolm[/name], and [name]Brady[/name]. Thanks !

[name]John[/name], [name]Claire[/name], and [name]Henry[/name] are an ideal set–they really fit together fabulously! [name]Henry[/name] has been on the rise for years (from the 130s in the late 1990s to #67 in 2010). BUT the name [name]John[/name], which you continue to love and have found unusual in your area, is nationally ranked at #26. So I would argue that [name]Henry[/name]'s growing recognition shouldn’t be worried over. It’s a classic, respected name.

[name]Dylan[/name] feels a little less classic by comparison; I don’t think it’s dated yet, but I think it might become so. Conversely, [name]Malcolm[/name] (though a classic) feels a little fusty compared to sleeker [name]John[/name] and [name]Claire[/name]. I think [name]Emmett[/name] and [name]Brady[/name] fit in all right. And [name]John[/name], [name]Claire[/name], and [name]Bryce[/name] make a good set, but I sympathize over it not quite fitting with your last name. What about…

[name]John[/name], [name]Claire[/name], and [name]Miles[/name] (nn [name]Milo[/name]) - love
[name]John[/name], [name]Claire[/name], and [name]Paul[/name]
[name]John[/name], [name]Claire[/name], and [name]Winston[/name] (nn [name]Win[/name])
[name]John[/name], [name]Claire[/name], and [name]Robert[/name] (nn [name]Rob[/name]/[name]Robby[/name], [name]Bob[/name]/[name]Bobby[/name], or [name]Bert[/name]/[name]Bertie[/name])
[name]John[/name], [name]Claire[/name], and [name]Blake[/name]
[name]John[/name], [name]Claire[/name], and [name]Maxwell[/name] (nn [name]Max[/name])
[name]John[/name], [name]Claire[/name], and [name]Alan[/name]
[name]John[/name], [name]Claire[/name], and [name]Wesley[/name] (nn [name]Wes[/name] or [name]Lee[/name])
[name]John[/name], [name]Claire[/name], and [name]Nicholas[/name] (nn [name]Nick[/name] or [name]Cole[/name])
[name]John[/name], [name]Claire[/name], and [name]Peter[/name]
[name]John[/name], [name]Claire[/name], and [name]Spencer[/name]
[name]John[/name], [name]Claire[/name], and [name]Reid[/name]
[name]John[/name], [name]Claire[/name], and [name]Lewis[/name]/[name]Louis[/name]
[name]John[/name], [name]Claire[/name], and [name]Philip[/name]
[name]John[/name], [name]Claire[/name], and [name]Marshall[/name]
[name]John[/name], [name]Claire[/name], and [name]Rhys[/name]
[name]John[/name], [name]Claire[/name], and [name]Warren[/name]

I really like [name]Johnny[/name], [name]Claire[/name] and [name]Emmett[/name]

Suggestions;

[name]Johnny[/name], [name]Claire[/name] and [name]Leo[/name]
[name]Johnny[/name], [name]Claire[/name] and [name]Arthur[/name]
[name]Johnny[/name], [name]Claire[/name] and [name]Thomas[/name]
[name]Johnny[/name], [name]Claire[/name] and [name]Evan[/name]
[name]Johnny[/name], [name]Claire[/name] and [name]Derek[/name]
[name]Johnny[/name], [name]Claire[/name] and [name]Peter[/name]
[name]Johnny[/name], [name]Claire[/name] and [name]Nathan[/name]
[name]Johnny[/name], [name]Claire[/name] and [name]Daniel[/name]
[name]Johnny[/name], [name]Claire[/name] and [name]George[/name]

[name]John[/name], [name]Claire[/name] and Heny go wonderfully together - very classic.
I also love the name [name]Dylan[/name] - considered it for my son but it is my brother-in-law’s name so it was out! I think it also fits well with [name]John[/name] and [name]Claire[/name].

[name]Hi[/name] and congrats on having twins, how lovely!

I feel that [name]Harry[/name] is a better fit than [name]Henry[/name] if you don’t live in the U.S. where they butcher the pronunciation of the name. I like the combo of [name]Harry[/name] [name]James[/name], it’s very smart.

I think [name]Jeremiah[/name] is a great name but again you have the repeat initials of J and a change of style but you may like [name]Jeremy[/name] as a middle name.

I like [name]Everett[/name] nn of [name]Rhett[/name] more than [name]Emmett[/name] although he is a good match with [name]Claire[/name] but I like the cavalier feel of [name]Everett[/name] and I am sure you will love [name]Everett[/name] and [name]Claire[/name] together.

Instead of [name]Malcolm[/name] why not try [name]Lachlan[/name] (lock lin) which is very popular in Australia and has the Scottish connection like [name]Malcolm[/name]

[name]Patrick[/name] is a gorgeous name, could you use it as a middle. I love the combo of [name]Rhys[/name] [name]Patrick[/name] and it works perfectly with [name]Claire[/name] [name]Juliet[/name]. Also nice to honour family. I am sure it would be appreciated by Uncle [name]Patrick[/name].

[name]Luke[/name] and [name]Claire[/name] or my preference of [name]Lucas[/name] and [name]Claire[/name] are a stunning set too.

Then there is [name]Thomas[/name], how could we forget him I think he would be perfect [name]Thomas[/name] [name]Evan[/name] and [name]Claire[/name] [name]Ellen[/name] or [name]Hazel[/name].

[name]Phillip[/name] [name]Anthony[/name] and [name]Claire[/name] [name]Penelope[/name].

[name]Barnaby[/name] is fantastic if you like a quirky vintage name, combo of [name]Barnaby[/name] [name]Thomas[/name] and [name]Claire[/name] [name]Hermione[/name].

WDYT?

Also [name]Ethan[/name] [name]Thomas[/name] or [name]Mitchell[/name] [name]Parker[/name].

I think big brother [name]John[/name] with baby twin siblings [name]Claire[/name] & [name]Henry[/name] = STUNNING!!!

Also, if you like [name]Ben[/name], what about [name]Benoit[/name] (’[name]Ben[/name]-wah’)?
[name]Just[/name] something to mull over…!
Congratulations and best of luck!!

Definitely [name]Henry[/name]. [name]LOVE[/name] [name]LOVE[/name] [name]LOVE[/name] the twin set and the sib set as a whole.

Thank you all for the great suggestions and comments! Very much appreciated (: Unfortunately many are names that I can’t use, but I do really like some! Such as [name]Blake[/name] (love love love this name it would be the one except I have a cousin who i see very frequently named [name]Blake[/name] and I have a close girl friend named [name]Blake[/name] so I just could never name my son [name]Blake[/name]) [name]Arthur[/name] (is a family name that I’m considering for a middle, but my husband refuses to use as a first name,) [name]Wesley[/name] (husband said no, ugh such a pain sometimes lol) and [name]Leo[/name] (neighbors dog’s name.)

So as of right now I think our list consists of:
[name]Henry[/name]: I agree that it fits so well with [name]Johnny[/name] and [name]Claire[/name], however I’m just not sure if it’s THE name, if that makes sense?
[name]Brady[/name]: I just can’t get this one out of my head so its staying on the list
[name]Emmett[/name]: We’re both so so on this one, sometimes I love it sometimes I feel like its only alright
[name]Louis[/name]: I like the idea of [name]Louis[/name] nickname [name]Louie[/name], because I really love [name]Louie[/name], however I’m not a fan of [name]Louis[/name] pronounced loo-ee but I don’t love [name]Louis[/name] either.

I don’t know, I guess with the other two names we really just knew they were THE names no doubt about it, so I’m still kind of looking for that with this one. So any other suggestions you could throw my way would be lovely, thanks so much everyone!

I love [name]Henry[/name]! [name]Johnny[/name], [name]Claire[/name], and [name]Henry[/name] is perfect.

WDYT of [name]Samuel[/name]? I’m not sure if it’s been suggested already, but it was my first thought and I think [name]Johnny[/name], [name]Claire[/name], and [name]Samuel[/name]/[name]Johnny[/name], [name]Claire[/name], and [name]Sam/name would be really cute together.

Good luck!

[name]Henry[/name] goes great with [name]Johnny[/name] and [name]Claire[/name]! I love it!! I may be biased though, I have a [name]Henry[/name].

I know you said NO [name]Charles[/name]- But I think [name]Charlie[/name] and [name]Johnny[/name] are great together. [name]Charlie[/name] is such an energetic name, without being trendy. I’ve never met one I didn’t like.

I think [name]Brady[/name] is too trendy to go with your other classic names.
Same with [name]Dylan[/name].

[name]Bryce[/name] is ok…

[name]Emmet[/name] is really nice it doesn’t have a lot of great nickname options though.

I love the idea of [name]Everett[/name]- then using [name]Rhett[/name] as a nickanme! I think that sounds great with your other names.

Good luck with whatever you decide.

Please, please don’t go for [name]Benoit[/name]. I don’t mean this to come across as me knocking anyone’s suggestions, but “ben wah balls” are used for sexual stimulation.

I like [name]Henry[/name] or [name]Dylan[/name] best… how about [name]Isaac[/name]?

edit: I like Charlie too! And I wouldn’t mind the C initials since they start with different sounds (ch and cl)

I think [name]John[/name], [name]Claire[/name] and [name]Luke[/name] sound wonderful, and then you could have [name]Louie[/name] as a nn for [name]Luke[/name] without using [name]Louis[/name] to get there.

Since you like [name]Charlie[/name] so much as a nn, how bout [name]Carlin[/name] or [name]Carlson[/name] as the full name?

I [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Henry[/name] but have started hearing it alot lately. Plus they just named [name]Addison[/name]'s son [name]Henry[/name] on Private Practice and it seems every name from that show has sky rocketed ([name]Addison[/name], [name]Charlotte[/name], [name]Mason[/name], [name]Amelia[/name]) in the last few years.

I have a [name]Jack[/name] and [name]Claire[/name] so I think our tastes are similar. You cannot go wrong with [name]Claire[/name], everywhere we go people say Oh what a beautiful name and I havent met too many others around me in NY.

I feel like with [name]John[/name] and [name]Claire[/name], you have to go classic so I vote for [name]Henry[/name], [name]Luke[/name], [name]James[/name] or [name]Ben[/name]…Good [name]Luck[/name]!
