Need Help Naming My Twins!!!!

[name]Hi[/name], just found out I am having twin girls. I really want them to have unique names that aren’t to similar to each other. Here is my list!

I really like Kerrington and [name]Francesca[/name] or [name]Amelia[/name] and [name]Genevieve[/name] and [name]Tyler[/name] and [name]Piper[/name]. Also any suggestions on middle names! Thanks!

I like the names you listed. I’ll put middle names with them and (*) the ones I like.

[name]Carter[/name] [name]Rae[/name]
[name]Serena[/name] [name]Noelle[/name]
*[name]Savannah[/name] [name]Grace[/name]
[name]Calla[/name] [name]Michelle[/name]
[name]Ever[/name] [name]Aaliyah[/name]
[name]Piper[/name] [name]Nadine[/name]
[name]Tyler[/name] [name]Jo[/name]
*[name]Annabelle[/name] [name]Iris[/name]
Carrigan [name]Brynn[/name]
Kerrington [name]Mae[/name]
*[name]Amelia[/name] [name]Faith[/name]
*[name]Genevieve[/name] [name]Sinclair[/name]
[name]Francesca[/name] [name]Vivian[/name]

I really like Kerrington and [name]Francesca[/name] or [name]Amelia[/name] and [name]Genevieve[/name] and [name]Tyler[/name] and [name]Piper[/name]. Also any suggestions on middle names! Thanks

I think that many of your names have a lot of potential, but just wanted to point out that you might want to be mindful of giving one girl a very feminine name and the other an androgynous one. If you have [name]Serena[/name] and [name]Carter[/name], for example, people will probably assume that [name]Carter[/name] is a boy simply because [name]Serena[/name] is such a girlie name, whereas if you went with [name]Carter[/name] and Kerrington, they might not immediately go that way. There’s a good example of this with I believe [name]Melissa[/name] Ethridge and I think that they discuss it in the baby name advice section. Good [name]Luck[/name]!

I love both of these names for one,

Carrigan or Kerrington

the other

[name]Cailin[/name] or [name]Kionna[/name]

I agree with [name]Katherine[/name] 100%. I would either give both girls unisex names or feminine names. Of your names, [name]Tyler[/name] is extremely popular (and has been for years) so if you’re looking for something more unique I’d stay away from that one.

Names from your list that are also popular or on the rise: [name]Amelia[/name], [name]Carter[/name], [name]Savannah[/name], [name]Piper[/name], [name]Annabelle[/name] (though I love it!)

Of your choices, I think these would make good pairs:

[name]Annabelle[/name] and [name]Genevieve[/name]
[name]Francesca[/name] and [name]Genevieve[/name]
[name]Annabelle[/name] and [name]Francesca[/name]
[name]Calla[/name] and [name]Serena[/name]
Carrigan and [name]Piper[/name]

I agree with the other posters who are saying make both names similar styles.
[name]Genevieve[/name] and [name]Francesca[/name]
[name]Genevieve[/name] and [name]Amelia[/name]
[name]Francesca[/name] and [name]Annabel[/name] (I like [name]Annabel[/name] spelled in a more streamlined way)

[name]Piper[/name] and [name]Calla[/name]

[name]Favorite[/name] Middle Names for the more feminine names: [name]Pearl[/name], [name]Ruby[/name], [name]Maeve[/name], [name]Iris[/name], [name]Kathleen[/name], [name]Helen[/name], [name]Jane[/name], [name]Blythe[/name], [name]Louise[/name], [name]Edith[/name], [name]Eve[/name], [name]Violet[/name], [name]May[/name], [name]Claire[/name], [name]Ruth[/name]

Middle Names for [name]Piper[/name] and [name]Calla[/name]: [name]Jane[/name], [name]True[/name], [name]Evelyn[/name], [name]Josephine[/name], [name]Imogen[/name], (don’t give [name]Piper[/name] a middle name that starts with “p” or she will have the initials “P.P.”) [name]Penelope[/name], [name]Guinevere[/name], [name]Rosamond[/name] (but not with [name]Piper[/name] or the two “r’s” will run together), [name]Amandine[/name], [name]Amelia[/name] (but not with [name]Calla[/name]), [name]Clementine[/name], [name]Veronica[/name]

Something is strange here. In your recent post regarding the names [name]Ellington[/name] and [name]Kerrigan[/name] for your baby girl, you said you were due very soon. In fact, “[name]Baby[/name] Due Very Soon, and Down to Two Names HELP!!!” was the post’s urgent title.

Your doctor waited until right before you’re set to give birth to let you know you’re having twins? The whole “I’m carrying two babies, not one” is usually something that’s found out relatively early on in a pregnancy, not close to your due date. Hmm…

It was so weird because I went into the doctors to have my ultrasound because my do date was coming up very soon and they told me there were to babies, I was so stunned. I am supposed to have them any day now. I just hope I don’t go in and end up having triplets!

I must agree with the others - stick with both unisex/last name style OR frilly/girly, not one of each (ie, Kerrington and [name]Francesca[/name]). (although nns [name]Kerrie[/name] and [name]Frankie[/name] is actually kinda cute!)

I love unisex/boy-name-for-girl/last-name names so here’s a few more to consider:

Keirson (knew a little girl by this name)

Have fun! Good luck! (I tried to pair up possible groups but they all ended up sounding too similar so I’ll let you play around with them on your own.)
