Need help naming our FOURTH CHILD!

Our three kids are named:
[name]Aidan[/name] [name]Michael[/name]
[name]Sophie[/name] [name]Alice[/name]
[name]August[/name] [name]Gabriel[/name]

I love all their names, except (am I allowed to admit this out loud??) that when we named our oldest son [name]Aidan[/name], it wasn’t this terribly trendy name like it is now. It was an old-fashiopned Irish saint! Now you seriously can’t swing a cat in our town without hitting a (non-Irish) [name]Aidan[/name].

We love old names. We love names that aren’t duplicated in every classroom. (Seriously, I wince every time I hear “[name]Aidan[/name]!” shouted on the playground).

If it’s a boy, we will name him [name]Jude[/name] (middle name TBD). I have had that on reserve for each child, but we always wait to meet the baby first and so far, it hasn’t fit. This time, I feel it.

I’m stumped for a girl’s name. Lead contenders: [name]Lucy[/name], [name]Daisy[/name], [name]Celia[/name]…

Please offer your opinions/suggestions! Due date is [name]September[/name] 30. Thank you!

Congratulations on #4! Your children have great names. You’re right, [name]Aidan[/name] is an old [name]Saint[/name]'s name and it’s a little unfair that it’s been turned into a trendy name. But it’s still a great name!

My first thought was that I love [name]Celia[/name] with your other children’s names, but then both boys would begin w/ ‘A’ and both girls with the ‘S’ sound. Is that too matchy for your tastes? If you plan on having more kids, you may feel obligated to stick to that pattern.

My second pick would be [name]Lucy[/name]”a cute classic name that fits nicely into your family of names. I’d stay away from [name]Daisy[/name] only because the first syllable rhymes with the first syllable of [name]Aidan[/name] (I can hear the nicknames…"[name]Day[/name] and Ay").

Congrats on number four. Your kids have lovely names. And I love the name [name]Jude[/name].
Here are some girls name you might like:

all your children have lovely names. Despite [name]Aidan[/name] being popular, it is classic.
[name]Jude[/name] is a very handsome and classic name. I love it!
[name]Daisy[/name], [name]Lucy[/name], and [name]Celia[/name] are all lovely.
My favorite would be [name]Daisy[/name], followed closely by [name]Lucy[/name] and then [name]Celia[/name].
you cant go wrong with any of your choices though (:

Thank you so much for these gorgeous suggestions! And for your nice compliments and reassurances. And for sure, this is our last baby

Keep the suggestions comin’–I love it!

With [name]Aidan[/name], [name]Sophie[/name], and [name]August[/name] how about:

[name]Miriam[/name] nn [name]Miri[/name]

[name]Lucy[/name] is one of my favorite names.

I love your children’s names! [name]Aidan[/name] is one of my favorite boy’s names, and has been since way before it became popular, so I feel your pain! Our son’s name is [name]Kyle[/name], which goes well with our Irish last name, but I cringe now, because there are a lot of [name]Kyle[/name]'s running around!
Girls name ideas:

[name]Hi[/name]! From your list, I love [name]Celia[/name] and [name]Lucy[/name] with your children’s names. (I’ll vote for [name]Lucy[/name], though.) My great-aunts were named [name]Celia[/name] and [name]Sophia[/name] ([name]Sophie[/name]), so I loved seeing [name]Celia[/name] on your list.

I love [name]Jude[/name], too!

I’m really sorry for repeats!

[name]Aidan[/name], [name]August[/name], [name]Sophie[/name], and:

Good luck!

[name]Sophie[/name] and [name]Bridget[/name] (or if you like the Austrian form [name]Brigitte[/name])

Sisters [name]Sophie[/name] and [name]Brigitte[/name]

Combo [name]Bridget[/name] [name]Abigail[/name]

[name]Sophie[/name] and [name]Lola[/name]

Combo [name]Lola[/name] [name]Maeve[/name]

[name]Sophie[/name] and [name]Catriona[/name]

Combo [name]Catriona[/name] [name]Maud[/name]

[name]Sophie[/name] and [name]Matilda[/name]

Combo [name]Matilda[/name] [name]Bryony[/name]

[name]August[/name], [name]Aidan[/name] and [name]Xavier[/name] [name]Jude[/name]

[name]August[/name], [name]Aidan[/name], [name]Dashiell[/name] [name]Jude[/name]

[name]August[/name], [name]Aidan[/name], [name]Jude[/name] [name]Alexander[/name] (to keep the ‘A’ theme), besides it is very handsome.

I don’t mind [name]Jude[/name].

[name]Celia[/name] is nice. I like [name]Cecelia[/name]/[name]Cecilia[/name] too.

[name]Celia[/name] [name]Frances[/name]
[name]Celia[/name] [name]Katherine[/name]
[name]Celia[/name] [name]Willow[/name]
[name]Celia[/name] [name]Judith[/name] (in case you don’t get your boy)
[name]Celia[/name] [name]Laurel[/name]

[name]Lucy[/name] and [name]Celia[/name] both fit very well with your kids’ name. I don’t think [name]Daisy[/name] fits as well; it seems a bit more casual.

[name]Aidan[/name], [name]Sophie[/name], [name]August[/name], and… (sorry for any repeats)

[name]June[/name] (oops…not with brother [name]August[/name], lol)

All your childrens names are beautful! I sort of know how you feel about [name]Aiden[/name], but it is a little different. The year I was born, my name, [name]Chloe[/name], was 109 in popularity, now it is number 10 and I meet [name]Chloe[/name]'s everywhere!

For your next child, I think a name with an S sound would be best since you have 2 A’s already. So from your list I would choose [name]Celia[/name] because it fits the sounds. Others you mght like are…

Or how about these names, though they don’t have the S sound…

Good luck!
