Hey everyone! While nothing is official yet, we have narrowed it down quite a way.
12 names for 3 babies! I’m trying to work through Middle Names, Nicknames, Sibsets.
Summary
Since we’re using the first names to honor people, we’re thinking about having more fun with the middle names. We’re not quite sure where to start. Some suggestions or tips would be nice.
Our oldest son will have a family name, so his full name is already set. I really love short, 1-2 syllable middle names.
I would also like to play around with names that honor our heritage. I think @storygirl87 has me loving this idea! I’m mixed Mediterranean, DH is mixed European. Our kids will be Italian, Greek, and [name_u]French[/name_u] on my side. Italian, Scottish, and [name_m]German[/name_m] on my husband’s side.

For the boys, I tapped into your husband’s side. I think that will match better with [name_u]James[/name_u] than a more “mediterranean” name.

You definitely have quite the decision to make! These are all lovely names.
I vote for [name_m]Nathaniel[/name_m] and [name_u]Julian[/name_u] for boys. [name_f]Lila[/name_f], [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f], and [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] for girls.
Since the first names are honoring people, I would say the origin idea is great for the middle names. You can also think of place-names that are special to you and your husband. Or words that have a spiritual connection.
There are so many options. You’ll be surprised what you can find!
