I’ve posted several times in the last few weeks, trying to narrow down names for our baby girl. I think we’ve now got it down to one or two keepers. [name]One[/name] of them is [name]Edith[/name], NN [name]Edie[/name]. Our last name is very similar to [name]Everett[/name]. Does [name]Edie[/name] [name]Everett[/name] sound too heavy on the E’s?
I think it sounds fine. [name]Edie[/name] has a hard “e” and [name]Everett[/name] has soft “e’s”, so the actual sound is different enough to make it work.
I like it! I think it sounds really nice together, but I really like alliteration.
I love the names [name]Katharyn[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name] [name]Jean[/name] and [name]Arabella[/name] [name]Rose[/name], [name]Arabella[/name] menas Beautiful, so Beautiful [name]Rose[/name]<3…also person above me please dont name your son Bobby Sparklefritz!!! thats so close to Sparkle fits he’ll be torchered during school years. poor boy… and to help with that, I like the boy names Aram Parker, and Caisen Noah, please dont name that baby Bobby Sparklefritz, thats a fairies name in the making… sorrrry to crush your mellow but its no good… I’m 15, trust me he’ll be made fun of for that name, my friend gets made fun of kuz he’s names is Tristen Jacod-dean
Thanks for your feedback, lucystone and maltwin1. I like alliteration too, though I know it’s not everyone’s cup of tea.
I think it is ok on the E’s but the different styles is getting to me. [name]Everett[/name] is so unisex and [name]Edie[/name] is so vintage and feminine I just dont think they work together sorry.
I think [name]Edie[/name] [name]Everett[/name] works just fine!
[name]Everett[/name] is not the actual last name, but it sounds similar (name is two syllables and begins with E, accent on the first syllable).
I don’t think it sounds too heavy at all. I actually quite like the combination.
