It took us awhile to come up with her first name [name]Rosaleigh[/name] but its been difficult to find a middle name that we like to go with it. The middle name that I really like is [name]Loralei[/name] but Im not sure if thats to much. Others I like are [name]Blythe[/name]
[name]Elizabelle[/name]
Lueva (family name)
[name]Mabel[/name]
[name]Haven[/name]
[name]Brielle[/name]
[name]Annabel[/name]
The flow of [name]Rosaleigh[/name] [name]Lorelei[/name] seems a bit off. [name]Rosaleigh[/name] [name]Mabel[/name] is my favorite; [name]Rosaleigh[/name] Lueva doesn’t seem to flow right; [name]Rosaleigh[/name] [name]Elizabelle[/name] twists up my tongue; [name]Rosaleigh[/name] [name]Haven[/name] and [name]Rosaleigh[/name] [name]Brielle[/name] also work; and so does [name]Rosaleigh[/name] [name]Annabel[/name], but because both are the same amount of syllables, they don’t flow as well as three-two combos.
[name]Mabel[/name]. [name]Haven[/name] and [name]Brielle[/name] is pretty too, [name]Annabel[/name] is also nice, but I strongly prefer [name]Mabel[/name]. The others? Not so much.
My least favourite is [name]Elizabelle[/name]. Although I’m a fan of belle names, I seriously hate [name]Elizabelle[/name], sorry!
I’d go with one of your shorter options, [name]Mabel[/name] or [name]Haven[/name], or [name]Brielle[/name]. The others are either too long or don’t flow quite right.
Of your list, the ones that sound the best are [name]Haven[/name] and [name]Mabel[/name].
what about these:
[name]Rosaleigh[/name] [name]Hazel[/name]
[name]Rosaleigh[/name] [name]Colleen[/name]
[name]Rosaleigh[/name] [name]Ashlyn[/name]
[name]Rosaleigh[/name] [name]Cora[/name]
[name]Rosaleigh[/name] [name]Eliza[/name]
I like the idea of a one (ideally) or 2 syllable mn to go with the longer [name]Rosaleigh[/name] too. Your idea of [name]Rosaleigh[/name] [name]Blythe[/name] is very pretty. I like the meaning too. Other ideas:
[name]Rosaleigh[/name] [name]Joy[/name]
[name]Rosaleigh[/name] [name]Tess[/name]
[name]Rosaleigh[/name] [name]Eve[/name] (or [name]Eva[/name])
[name]Rosaleigh[/name] [name]Bryn[/name]
[name]Rosaleigh[/name] [name]Tea[/name] (pronounced with 2 syllables -Tee-A)
[name]Rosaleigh[/name] [name]Teagan[/name]
I don’t care for any of your middle name options. Most are total tongue twisters and the flow is off. [name]Rosalie[/name] (this spelling) is a gorgeous name! [name]How[/name] about:
Thank you all for the suggestions! Im pretty sure we have narrowed it down to [name]Rosaleigh[/name] [name]Haven[/name] or [name]Rosaleigh[/name] [name]Ashlyn[/name]
[name]Hi[/name] mandaleigh thanks for coming to nameberry. I think [name]Rosalie[/name] is lovely. I am surprised that our nameberries have not commented on the spelling of [name]Rosaleigh[/name] which by nameberry standards would make us unhappy as we would see it as a corruption of the classic spelling. I prefer [name]Rosalie[/name] as it has more flow than [name]Rosaleigh[/name] which reads to me more like [name]Rosa[/name] [name]Lee[/name] (two names), however it is a lovely choice and if you prefer your spelling okay but I much prefer the [name]Rosalie[/name].
I actually really, really liked [name]Blythe[/name]. [name]Rosalie[/name] / [name]Rosaleigh[/name] [name]Blythe[/name] is gorgeous.
[name]Ashlyn[/name] doesn’t work at all. It’s very, very trendy and hard to say, coming right after [name]Rosalie[/name]. [name]Haven[/name] is a much better pick if those are really your last two.
[Like rollo, I think the trim, sleek, straightforward [name]Rosalie[/name] is much better than [name]Rosaleigh[/name]-- which sounds exactly the same, just looks clunkier. If you’re trying to pick a ‘unique’ name by spelling it thusly, I think [name]Rosalie[/name] is uncommon enough as it is!]
Thank you all again! There is a reason for the spelling of her name as [name]Rosaleigh[/name] that I did at first debate on using. There is a long line of strong amazing women in my family that have/has [name]Leigh[/name] in their name myself as well and I really wanted to carry that on to my only daughter! And we adore the name [name]Rosalie[/name]. There was not many names that we did like, and it was even harder for us to pick a middle name. I also thought [name]Blythe[/name] or [name]Mabel[/name] as a mn sounded beautiful but my fiance has his heart set on [name]Haven[/name] since he heard it and I couldnt argue with that when I think it sounds pretty too. He also didnt argue the spelling of her first name bc he jnows how much it means to me!
My sons names are [name]Lucas[/name] [name]Benjamin[/name] , [name]Carter[/name] [name]Alexander[/name], and his son is [name]Andrew[/name] [name]James[/name] everyone calls him [name]Drew[/name]
