My husband and I are struggling to pick a girl name! We have two girls already, [name_f]Adelle[/name_f] [name_f]Claire[/name_f] and [name_f]Nora[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f]
Here is the list of names we are considering for #3:
To go with [name_f]Adelle[/name_f] [name_f]Claire[/name_f] and [name_f]Nora[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f]…
I think [name_f]Stella[/name_f], while lovely, is too close to [name_f]Adelle[/name_f] for sisters. And [name_f]Clara[/name_f] is very similar to [name_f]Claire[/name_f], obviously, but that doesn’t make it unusable if it’s the perfect name.
I think [name_f]Mia[/name_f], [name_f]Cassandra[/name_f] and [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] are my favorites with her sisters. And [name_f]Cassandra[/name_f] [name_f]Mia[/name_f] might work well for you as a full name.
I think [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] fits by far the best with [name_f]Adelle[/name_f] and [name_f]Nora[/name_f]. [name_f]Clara[/name_f] is too close to [name_f]Claire[/name_f], plus shares the -ra ending with [name_f]Nora[/name_f]. All the others could be nice fits too, but I think [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] is just perfect, it is similar in style to [name_f]Adelle[/name_f] and [name_f]Nora[/name_f] without being matchy or rhymey, perfect balance of being different to both.
Your daughters names are beautiful! With [name_f]Adelle[/name_f] and [name_f]Nora[/name_f] i love love [name_f]Lucy[/name_f]. I really like [name_f]Alice[/name_f] too if sharing same initial doesn’t bother you.
My husband likes [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] a lot, and I do as well. My main hang up with it is that I’m not sure I can see it fitting for an adult.
My top name is probably [name_f]Stella[/name_f], but every time I mention it my husband yells, “Steeeeeellllllllaaaaaa!” Like from [name_m]Street[/name_m] Car. He says he likes the name, but I’m not sure I can deal with him making that same stupid joke all the time, lol!
I love [name_f]Mia[/name_f] with [name_f]Adelle[/name_f] and [name_f]Nora[/name_f]! Absolutely beautiful together :). I also love [name_f]Stella[/name_f] and [name_f]Lucy[/name_f].
I like [name_f]Stella[/name_f] a lot, but it seems too close to [name_f]Adelle[/name_f] for me. Out of your list, I agree with others that [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] is a great fit. I think [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] is a great name for an adult as well as a child, but you could consider [name_f]Lucia[/name_f] and pronounce it [name_f]Lu[/name_f]-see-ah with the nn [name_f]Lucy[/name_f].
I like [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] with your children’s names. I normally prefer [name_f]Mia[/name_f] or [name_f]Stella[/name_f], but they may be a bit too close and not quite the same style.
I agree [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] is the perfect match from your list. I would not pick a name that starts or ends with the same letter as one of your daughters because the one that does not match will feel left out. Go with a short classic middle name that ends with an e.
[name_f]Lucy[/name_f] [name_f]Alice[/name_f] is my favourite
I also like
[name_f]Lucy[/name_f] [name_f]Emme[/name_f]
[name_f]Lucy[/name_f] [name_f]Elle[/name_f]
[name_f]Lucy[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f]
[name_f]Lucy[/name_f] [name_f]Belle[/name_f]
[name_f]Lucy[/name_f] [name_f]Kate[/name_f]
[name_f]Lucy[/name_f] [name_f]Catherine[/name_f]
[name_f]Lucy[/name_f] [name_f]Gertrude[/name_f]
[name_f]Lucy[/name_f] can definitely be an older person name
Maybe not this generation but grandparents and greatparents would of had lots of [name_f]Lucy[/name_f]'s in their time?
I actually think it becomes ugly if you make it any longer like '[name_f]Lucille[/name_f]'or ‘[name_f]Luciana[/name_f]’
Theres lots of babies now being called '‘nickname’'names such as [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] and [name_f]Evie[/name_f] which are more young girl sounding to me than [name_f]Lucy[/name_f]
