I am having a girl and I cannot choose between mabel or penelope. Middle names for both were going to be either jane or ann. My middle name is jane. Our oldest daughter is named [name_f]Eva[/name_f] and our son is [name_u]River[/name_u]. Help please. I love both names

[name_f]Penelope[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] is TOO cute 
I’m not a huge fan of [name_f]Mabel[/name_f] and I think it sounds really vintage with siblings [name_f]Eva[/name_f] and [name_u]River[/name_u]. [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] sounds really fresh and fun but with a vintage twist. [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] [name_f]Ann[/name_f] is also nice but [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] is just perfect (and I am NOT usually a big [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] fan!)

[name_f]Penelope[/name_f] is one of my absolute favorites but [name_f]Mabel[/name_f] and it’s lovable meaning is high on my loves list too.
If I had to choose based on the sibset I would go with [name_f]Mabel[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f].

I think either name works beautifully, but I am partial to [name_f]Mabel[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] in your sibset.
While I like [name_f]Penelope[/name_f], it seems long and complex next to [name_f]Eva[/name_f] and [name_u]River[/name_u] so I’d go with [name_f]Mabel[/name_f]. [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] is another possibilty that I think works well with your sibset and has some characteristics of [name_f]Penelope[/name_f]. [name_f]Phaedra[/name_f] or [name_f]Petra[/name_f] are other possibilities.
[name_f]Penelope[/name_f] is the name I prefer. However, I think [name_f]Mabel[/name_f] fits in better with the siblings’ names, so if you’re the kind of person who likes siblings names to ‘go together,’ then I would go with [name_f]Mabel[/name_f]. It is a lovely name. If you’re not overly concerned about them fitting perfectly together, however, then my vote goes to [name_f]Penelope[/name_f].
I think [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] goes better with your other little ones. Both [name_f]Ann[/name_f] and [name_f]Jane[/name_f] go well with it but I’m partial to [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] [name_f]Ann[/name_f].

I second the idea someone suggested of [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f]. I think I like that even better than [name_f]Penelope[/name_f], because it is only two syllables and is less likely to be shortened to a nickname.
I’m not a fan of [name_f]Mabel[/name_f]. Personally, it is just not my style and I don’t think it goes “style-wise” with [name_f]Eva[/name_f] and [name_u]River[/name_u]…

I think [name_f]Eva[/name_f], [name_u]River[/name_u], and [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] are gorgeous together! (Plus, [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] is to die for. ;))
