Congratulations! I really love [name_f]Meadow[/name_f], but it is a little “out there” especially compared to [name_f]Lily[/name_f]. So if your a little doubtful about it, it’s good to keep looking.
My first thought was [name_f]Zora[/name_f]. More namey then [name_f]Meadow[/name_f], but still a little different and fun. [name_f]Lily[/name_f] and [name_f]Zora[/name_f] is cute!

I love @lexiem’s suggestion of [name_f]Harlow[/name_f] and [name_u]Marlow[/name_u]. I actually like the name [name_f]Meadow[/name_f] quite a bit, but it might fit better as a middle name if you’re worried about it.
There are alsoquite a few names on Nameberry that [i]mean[/i] ‘meadow’ if you want to keep that. If you want to continue the nature theme you have going with [name_f]Lily[/name_f] (and a possible [name_f]Meadow[/name_f]), I have a few ideas:

Thanks for all your feedback and suggestions everyone! Definitely gave me some names to think about. I love the nature names! Which was the appeal with [name_f]Meadow[/name_f] plus its not super popular. I was really disappointed when [name_f]Lily[/name_f] became so popular. I also have a really big family, lots of nieces and nephews and cousins, so lots of names and similar sounding names we cant use, which has added to the difficulty.

My top recommendation is [name_f]Lily[/name_f] {and} [name_f]Violet[/name_f].
I think that if you’re wavering on [name_f]Meadow[/name_f], and if someone down the line did have criticism or she had to deal with bullying, you would truly regret not following your instinct. I do think it’s a beautiful name and hard to pass on! But another thought is that since [name_f]Lily[/name_f] has taken off in popularity, and you prefer to not choose such a common name, it wouldn’t seem like the best pairing to go in the complete opposite direction and use a name that no one really knows/thinks of as a name. My recommendation would be to find something more toward the middle of the spectrum so it’s not a constant “normal name vs. uncommon name” comparison when they’re growing up, regardless of which is seemed cooler

My biggest worry is that she would grow up and ask me why i gave her such a weird name (that she maybe doesnt like) especially in comparison to [name_f]Lily[/name_f].
