I love [name_f]Africa[/name_f] and [name_f]Jamaica[/name_f] for girls names, which would suit your theme. Also second earlier suggestions of [name_f]Regina[/name_f] and [name_f]Marina[/name_f].
[name_f]Sarita[/name_f]
[name_f]Lara[/name_f]
[name_f]Lauretta[/name_f]
[name_f]Milana[/name_f]
[name_f]Chiquita[/name_f]
[name_f]Saskia[/name_f]
[name_f]Jordana[/name_f]
[name_f]Argentina[/name_f]

I actually think [name_u]Denali[/name_u] is very pretty! Others that come to mind are [name_u]Delaney[/name_u], as someone already mentioned, and [name_u]Devon[/name_u] (like the region in [name_f]England[/name_f]).

Isnt [name_u]Denali[/name_u] a type of car? I also like my k id a not to share some first letter. [name_u]Sierra[/name_u] is nice buy it sounds similar to [name_m]Navarro[/name_m] to me. I like suggestions of [name_f]Odessa[/name_f], [name_f]Olympia[/name_f], [name_f]Alaska[/name_f] and [name_f]Arizona[/name_f]. Also I would use [name_u]Denali[/name_u] as middle name so DH cannot suggest this name in the case u have #5 girl!

@MerylP The [name_u]Denali[/name_u], like the [name_m]Tucson[/name_m] and Yukon, are types of vehicles that were named after places. The place names came first. [name_u]Denali[/name_u] is actually the name of a National [name_u]Park[/name_u] in [name_f]Alaska[/name_f], which is home to [name_u]Denali[/name_u], the highest mountain in [name_u]North[/name_u] [name_u]America[/name_u] and was previously known as Mount McKinley. [name_m]Tucson[/name_m] is a city in [name_f]Arizona[/name_f]. Yukon is the name of a city in Oklahoma and a territory in [name_f]Canada[/name_f] where the Klondike [name_m]Gold[/name_m] [name_m]Rush[/name_m] occurred in the 1890s.

Personally I think [name_u]Denali[/name_u] [name_u]Rae[/name_u] is absolutely gorgeous! But I can also understand your reservations about it clashing with your last name, plus not wanting to repeat a letter you already used for [name_u]Dakota[/name_u].

If [name_u]Sierra[/name_u] is a bit too common for you, what about [name_f]Siena[/name_f]? It’s less popular, especially spelled with just one n, and it’s a place name from [name_f]Italy[/name_f]. I also second the earlier suggestion for [name_f]Umbria[/name_f]–also an Italian place name, super uncommon, yet pretty! Of course I’m biased as it’s a personal fave of mine.

Other possibilities:

[name_f]Catalina[/name_f]
[name_f]Galilea[/name_f]
[name_f]Fiorenza[/name_f]
[name_f]Quintana[/name_f]
[name_f]Caledonia[/name_f]
[name_f]Zaria[/name_f]
[name_f]Geneva[/name_f]
Sedona

I love [name_f]Isola[/name_f] ([name_u]Izzy[/name_u] for short)! Thank you!

@Selkit I don’t think [name_u]Denali[/name_u] is a horrible name but I feel like it doesn’t go as well with our other girls names and I definitely don’t like how it sounds with our last name. We actually thought of [name_f]Siena[/name_f] but spelled [name_f]Sienna[/name_f]. We live right near a college named [name_f]Siena[/name_f] which is a beautiful college, but it would obviously provoke a local connection. [name_f]My[/name_f] other issue is it rhymes with [name_f]Vienna[/name_f] and I’m trying to avoid any of our girl names sounding too alike.

@MerylP no chance of having another kid since I’m 42 and this one was a surprise! :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: But I agree with what you’re saying about the name!

@shells15 [name_f]Kiana[/name_f] is pretty!

@nessagirl96 [name_u]Senna[/name_u] was a name on my list! [name_f]Samara[/name_f] rhymes with Navarra so that one is def out! :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

@Natawa [name_f]Elora[/name_f] is very pretty!

Here are a few more for you to look through! I stuck with ‘a’ ending and tried not to include anything that would be too much of a mouthful with [name_u]Rae[/name_u] as a middle.

Navarra, [name_f]Vienna[/name_f], [name_u]Dakota[/name_u] and

Adela
[name_f]Alessia[/name_f]
[name_f]Cecelia[/name_f]
[name_f]Eliana[/name_f]
Evanthia
Kova
[name_f]Lysandra[/name_f] (probably too many r’s with the [name_u]Rae[/name_u] but had to include it)
[name_f]Lauretta[/name_f]
[name_f]Olympia[/name_f]
[name_f]Romana[/name_f]
[name_u]Sasha[/name_u]
[name_f]Talia[/name_f]
[name_f]Tallulah[/name_f]
[name_f]Tiana[/name_f]
[name_f]Viola[/name_f]
[name_f]Winika[/name_f]

I think [name_f]Kiana[/name_f] is now one of my top picks! :slightly_smiling_face: Thank you all for sharing so many names! [name_m]Feel[/name_m] free to keep them coming. :+1::wink:

I think [name_f]Kiana[/name_f] would be a fantastic choice. It’s an Alaskan place name meaning “where three rivers meet” in the native Iñupiat language. [name_f]Kiana[/name_f] goes beautifully with Navarra, [name_f]Vienna[/name_f], and [name_u]Dakota[/name_u]!

Just a thought. Likely won’t go with your last name as you’re hoping and still uses the D. But if you’re husband is so into [name_u]Denali[/name_u]
maybe just add an “a” onto the end of that. For Denalia. Nameberry doesn’t have it listed as a name but BabyCenter does. It has a seemingly big mine craft reference but urban dictionary also had it on record as well
here is what they listed for Denalia, “ An astoundingly beautiful woman with a true heart of gold. Charismatic kind, loving, caring, sexy, and a true friend. If you are ever so lucky to meet a Denalia, make sure you hold on to her.”

It’s also a Hawaiian name which I love! [name_f]My[/name_f] husband and I went to [name_m]Hawaii[/name_m] for our honeymoon so it holds a special place in our hearts.

I am also considering a couple of other Hawaiian names

[name_f]Kaleah[/name_f] and Keilana

They all sounds great with [name_u]Rae[/name_u] as a middle name which is still my top pick! :+1:

Yeah that would solve the ending in an “a” issue I have but not how it sounds with our last name. I also really don’t want another name starting with D. That’s a great suggestion though! Thank you

I really like the name [name_u]Denali[/name_u]! [name_u]Denali[/name_u] [name_u]Rae[/name_u] is very pretty and I think goes with your other girls. Some other place names:
[name_f]Geneva[/name_f]
[name_f]Catalina[/name_f]
[name_f]Acadia[/name_f]
[name_f]Atlanta[/name_f]
[name_f]Florence[/name_f]
[name_f]Olympia[/name_f]
[name_f]Astoria[/name_f]
[name_u]Holland[/name_u]

Raine is also on our list for middle names!

Navarra, [name_f]Vienna[/name_f], [name_u]Dakota[/name_u] &

Ariana
[name_f]Calista[/name_f]
[name_f]Dahlia[/name_f]
[name_u]Dana[/name_u]
[name_f]Elena[/name_f]
[name_f]Ophelia[/name_f]
[name_f]Octavia[/name_f]

@Summs [name_f]Ariana[/name_f] is very pretty but we have a niece named [name_f]Aria[/name_f] so that one is out. [name_f]Dahlia[/name_f] is pretty too! Right now I am kind of stuck on Hawaiian names.

Top picks are:
[name_f]Kiana[/name_f]
Keilana
[name_f]Kaleah[/name_f]

Also like [name_f]Isla[/name_f] and [name_f]Ailana[/name_f].

It’s so tough choosing! It’s especially tough getting my husband to agree on a name. :face_with_raised_eyebrow:
