need help to find perfect name

I am unsure until the end of next month if I’m having a boy or girl but cannot find a boy name we love. We have girl names picked but no luck on the boy end.

The name has to go with our surname [name]Stone[/name]. We loved the name [name]Cole[/name] but [name]Cole[/name] [name]Stone[/name] is not great sounding.

Any help or input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

What are the girl name you like? Knowing that would help with suggesting some boys names.

Names that remind me of [name]Cole[/name]…

[name]Cole[/name] [name]Stone[/name] reminds me of Coldstone Creamery. I’d steer clear!

[name]May[/name] I ask what your girl names are to get a feel of your style? I’d go with at least 2-3 syllable names with a 1 syllable last name.

[name]How[/name] about [name]Colin[/name] or [name]Colby[/name] with a nn of [name]Cole[/name]?

Thanks for the input and suggestions. I like [name]Owen[/name], [name]Brady[/name] and [name]Colin[/name]. I like Braydn its the name I would have named my first if she were a boy.

Our daughter is [name]Madison[/name] aka [name]Maddie[/name] cakes or Madabug.

The girl names we like are [name]Clara[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name] or [name]Haley[/name] ([name]Hailey[/name] is how I would spell it but hubby likes it the other way) [name]Elizabeth[/name]

Also this baby was conceived while we were on vacation in barbados … If that helps :).

I really like how [name]Madison[/name] and [name]Colin[/name] sound together. [name]Clara[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name] is gorgeous!

[name]How[/name] does [name]Henry[/name] [name]Douglas[/name] sound??? [name]Reason[/name] is because [name]Henry[/name] is the name of a place in Barbados and [name]Douglas[/name] because its my dads name. Or is [name]Henry[/name] too old sounding??

[name]Henry[/name] is great-- not old sounding at all! In fact, it’s pretty popular at the moment. [name]Henry[/name] [name]Douglas[/name] is very handsome.

Yeah, that sounds too close to Cold [name]Stone[/name] Creamery. I would also avoid [name]Aaron[/name] because of the Disney show, [name]Aaron[/name] [name]Stone[/name]. [name]Eli[/name] [name]Stone[/name] was a one-season show in 2008, so if you like that, it’s not as well known.

I, too, have a strong one-syllable, word surname and it has eliminated a few names. [name]Elliott[/name] and [name]August[/name] are my top two though if that helps.

[name]Henry[/name] is nice, but it could get a bit awkward when you tell him how you chose the name. [name]Douglas[/name] would be great for a middle name. I love family names! It makes them more special imo.
