My little boy will be delivered very soon, however, i haven't got a good name for him yet. My family name is “Shi”. So how do you think about the baby name, [name_m]Edward[/name_m] [name_m]Louis[/name_m] Shi , Andrew Louis Shi ? Is it ambiguous,or offensive ?
We would like him to be wise, healthy, manly, wealthy. What 's your proposal for a modern or classic name (first name + middle name preferred) with the family name, Shi ?
Thanks a lot for your reply and help!!!
I did a search and found that “[name_m]Andrew[/name_m]” is kind of out of date, [name_m]Louis[/name_m] is probably the same.
So I have no idea now. First name + [name_m]Andrew[/name_m] ? [name_m]Andrew[/name_m] + middle name ? [name_m]How[/name_m] about [name_m]Louis[/name_m] ?
[name_m]Edward[/name_m] [name_m]Louis[/name_m] Shi is a handsome name. I also like [name_m]Edison[/name_m] [name_m]Louis[/name_m] Shi even more. The name is not too dated, it is classic and handsome.
Other ideas if you are unsure:
[name_u]Everett[/name_u] [name_u]Logan[/name_u] Shi
[name_m]Oliver[/name_m] [name_u]Mason[/name_u] Shi
[name_m]Joshua[/name_m] [name_u]Parker[/name_u] Shi
[name_m]Edward[/name_m] is coming back in popularity, as are other [name_m]Ed[/name_m] names (excepting [name_m]Edwin[/name_m] and [name_m]Edgar[/name_m]). I like [name_m]Edmund[/name_m] especially : ) [name_m]Louis[/name_m] is a bit dated, but makes an excellent middle. [name_m]Andrew[/name_m] I see no problem with at all, except it may be too popular for some people’s tastes. Other names:
In my opinion, these are some of the strongest and manly boy’s names that a person could pick. They also have been pretty steady in the popularity ranks, so they won’t be considered too old-fashioned or trendy. I know my brothers wouldn’t mind wearing them : )
I think both names are extremely handsome! I am a bit more partial to [name_m]Andrew[/name_m], but I think [name_m]Edward[/name_m] [name_m]Louis[/name_m] flows really well.
I think they go very well with your family name. [name_m]Andrew[/name_m] [name_m]Louis[/name_m] in particular : ) And I don’t believe there are any ambiguous meanings; [name_m]Andrew[/name_m] and [name_m]Edward[/name_m], in addition to [name_m]Louis[/name_m], are all very accepted and well-received names.
Very clear ! thanks you so much !
Besides, [name_f]Do[/name_f] you have other suggestions for a boy’s name, which is related with healthy, intelligent, manly, happy ? More fashion and unique names than the two i proposed, or combined with one of the three words, Andrew, Edward, Louis.
[name_m]Griffith[/name_m] means “strong,” as does [name_m]Andrew[/name_m]. But [name_m]Griffith[/name_m] is more trendy and fashionable, if that is what you are seeking.
Or perhaps [name_m]Ethan[/name_m]. It means “strong and intelligent” and is very popular. (#3 name in the USA in 2012)
[name_m]Raymond[/name_m] has enjoyed recent popularity. It means “wise protector.” (#249 name in 2012)
Other popular names with manly images include [name_m]Alexander[/name_m], [name_m]William[/name_m], [name_u]James[/name_u], [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m], [name_m]Anthony[/name_m], and [name_m]Gabriel[/name_m].
My best suggestions for you are [name_m]Andrew[/name_m] or [name_m]Ethan[/name_m].
