I voted for [name_m]Asher[/name_m] (can’t really vote against [name_m]Asher[/name_m], considering it’s my son’s name!), but I love most of these names. The only ones I’m not a big fan of are [name_u]Emmett[/name_u] (reminds me of Twilight) and [name_m]Abraham[/name_m] (I’d like it okay on someone else’s kid, but for me it still feels very heavy).
It was tough to choose between [name_m]Ezra[/name_m] and [name_m]Asher[/name_m]! I love most of your other options as well - not so excited about [name_u]Emmett[/name_u] or [name_m]Gabriel[/name_m].
I wouldn’t use [name_m]Caleb[/name_m]. I just would feel weird naming my kid ‘dog’ even though I like dogs and I get that it was supposed to be a fierceness/loyalty thing.
I really like [name_u]Emmett[/name_u] for myself but that’s because our family is an intermarriage of Jewish/Irish. That it’s an Irish name that sounds like a Hebrew virtue name is a nice thing. I don’t really think of it as a strictly-speaking Hebrew name though, with that spelling. Still a nice name, not hating.
[name_m]Levi[/name_m] is a long-term favourite of mine and I adore [name_m]Asher[/name_m] and [name_m]Ezra[/name_m]. I prefer [name_m]Avram[/name_m]/[name_u]Avi[/name_u]/[name_m]Avraham[/name_m] to [name_m]Abraham[/name_m], but I’m just not fond of [name_m]Abe[/name_m]. If pushed I like [name_m]Abram[/name_m], NN [name_m]Bram[/name_m].
[name_m]Isaac[/name_m] is nice.
I like [name_m]Zeke[/name_m] but prefer [name_m]Ezra[/name_m] and [name_m]Eli[/name_m] to [name_m]Ezekiel[/name_m]. [name_m]Gabriel[/name_m] I go back and forth, I like it unshortened but I’m not keen on [name_m]Gabe[/name_m]. [name_m]Gavriel[/name_m] is handsomer I think, for that reason.
I love most of your list but I chucked my vote to Levi because I’ve loved it since I was 5.
