I love the idea of honouring a family member by using their name as a middle name for my baby, but I’m really having a hard time with the girl names in my family. They are all really strong first names but I am havng a hard time fitting them in as a middle name.
[name]Do[/name] you have any suggestions for second middle names that would work in offsetting the family members middle name?
Any suggestions for other first names that have the same traditional classy feel are also appreciated. I’m also partial to Irish names as our last name is O’[name]Brien[/name].
Some of the girl names I like:
[name]Gwendolen[/name] or [name]Gwendolynn[/name]
[name]Teresa[/name] - baby’s grandma
[name]Blanche[/name] - baby’s grandma … although [name]Sylvia[/name] is her middle name as well as her mothers name so that might be an easier alternative.
[name]Selena[/name], [name]Vanessa[/name] and [name]Deanna[/name] - [name]Baby[/name]'s aunts
[name]Andee[/name] - female version of baby’s grandpa
An example of something that might work:
[name]Evelynn[/name] [name]Teresa[/name] [name]Mae[/name]
