Need help with first girl MIX AND MATCH

Her brothers are [name_u]Jude[/name_u], [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m], and [name_m]Hugh[/name_m]. So something that doesn’t totally clash
Mix and Match as you please. I really want something that sounds affluent yet not totally popular (i.e. ava, or emily etec.)
I love gossip girl sounding ish names (I looked at that forum) here are some of my favorites. Please give me your opinions!!!

[name_f]Lila[/name_f]
[name_f]Violet[/name_f]
[name_u]Everly[/name_u]
[name_f]Isobel[/name_f]/[name_f]Isabel[/name_f]
[name_f]Scarlett[/name_f]
[name_u]Blair[/name_u]
[name_u]Nelly[/name_u] (if you can think of something longer)
[name_f]Naomi[/name_f]
[name_f]Ella[/name_f]
[name_u]Reagan[/name_u]
[name_f]Bridgette[/name_f]

HELP.

For [name_u]Nelly[/name_u], how about [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f]/a or [name_f]Penelope[/name_f]?

You have a very classic sibset. I would slash some of the more contemporary names (like [name_u]Blair[/name_u], [name_u]Reagan[/name_u] and [name_f]Lila[/name_f]), and stick with the classics. Also, if you are looking to avoid totally popular names, [name_f]Ella[/name_f] should go.

From your list, I think the best fits would be…

[name_f]Violet[/name_f]
[name_f]Isabel[/name_f] (sticking with more English classic spelling)
[name_f]Naomi[/name_f]
[name_f]Scarlett[/name_f]
[name_f]Bridgette[/name_f] (though I think [name_f]Bridget[/name_f] is much better)*

*There is the problem that you would have two children with names that start with the same letter. I wouldn’t let it bother you too much, since they are two distinct names. However, if it does bother you, don’t do it.)

I don’t think [name_u]Reagan[/name_u], [name_u]Everly[/name_u], [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] or [name_u]Blair[/name_u] work that well with your other kids’ names.
My top choices would be:

  1. [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] (a nice long form for [name_u]Nelly[/name_u])
  2. [name_f]Naomi[/name_f]
  3. [name_f]Isobel[/name_f] (although other forms of the name are extremely popular)
  4. [name_f]Ella[/name_f]
  5. [name_f]Bridgette[/name_f] (prefer [name_f]Bridget[/name_f])

[name_u]Jude[/name_u], [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m], [name_m]Hugh[/name_m], and

[name_f]Lila[/name_f], [name_f]Violet[/name_f], [name_f]Isabel[/name_f], [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f], [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] “[name_u]Nelly[/name_u]”, [name_f]Ella[/name_f]

I think that all of the choices on your list match well with the other siblings’ names with the exception of:
[name_u]Everly[/name_u]
[name_u]Blair[/name_u]
[name_u]Reagan[/name_u]

I’d stick with a lovely feminine name.

Best of luck!

[name_u]Jude[/name_u], [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m] and [name_m]Hugh[/name_m] are wonderful classic choices so I would stick to the timeless and/or vintage names on your girls list and they would be…

[name_f]Isabel[/name_f]/[name_f]Isobel[/name_f]
[name_f]Naomi[/name_f]
[name_f]Violet[/name_f]
[name_f]Lila[/name_f]
[name_f]Bridget[/name_f] (this spelling)

[name_f]Eleanor[/name_f], [name_f]Helen[/name_f]/[name_f]Helena[/name_f]/[name_f]Elena[/name_f], [name_f]Lenore[/name_f], [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f] and [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] would be names to get to [name_u]Nelly[/name_u] although I must caution you about [name_u]Nelly[/name_u]. A nellie is a derogatory term for an effeminate male in some countries. I must prefer [name_f]Nell[/name_f] as a nn for these gems.
