Need help with middle names for female characters.

See all those singular girls’ names in the bottom half of my signature? All characters in development; all in need of middle names. The first five are (half)sisters for a modern fantasy project in which their “magical” powers (I hate describing it that way; makes it sound cliche. But it’s really the best quick summary I can come up with.) are beginning to develop; the others are just floating around in my head waiting for plotlines at the moment.

As far as traits go:

Elsei is the eldest of five and displays the traits of a “typical” firstborn child: a born leader, but stubborn and brash. Small of stature; tan skin with dark hair and eyes. Big presence, though. Lots of charisma.

Jamia is the second-born and has a different father than three of her sisters (shares the same as Xiomara). Does not feel excluded as Elsei and she are best friends. Tall, lithe, curvy through bust and waist; blonde and green-eyed. Nature lover. Commits a bit of murder in the final act - but it’s necessary, I promise. :wink:

Joanna seems to be the “typical” middle child at first: quiet, solitary, studious. She’s the most physically fit of the five and works out frequently. But she’s got a stubborn side and considers herself bound to duty - lawful good, for those of you following the D&D alignment chart.

Myriah is, frankly, the bombshell. Fun-loving, vivacious, sensual, enjoys all things pleasurable. Good food, good drink, good-looking people surrounding her. Worries her sisters quite frequently with her reckless behavior, but has a good heart, if a hedonistic one.

And Xiomara. Poor Xio. She was born sickly and has not quite recovered since, with chronic anemia and hypoglycemia as well as a heart murmur rendering her physically weak. As a result, her mind and imagination are quite strong, and she fits the type of a “dreamer” well.

So those five are the sisters. The other three…really just need names that sound good with their first names, in all honesty, since I’m not quite sure what I’m doing with them yet. I DO know this: Ysabel is absolutely ferocious, Adelaide is quite kind and good, and Raenna is prrrobably going to be an antagonist.

@changelic [name_f]Ysabel[/name_f] [name_f]Tempest[/name_f] is PERFECT considering how her character is shaping up in my head. [name_f]Xiomara[/name_f] [name_f]Chandra[/name_f] is nice as well - one of my closest confidants is named [name_f]Chandra[/name_f], so it would be a nice little honor name for her!
