So I’ve decided on names for my two main characters, but that’s pretty much it.
Genre of [name_u]Story[/name_u]: Realistic fiction, Family
Time Period/Location: Present day. I’m not 100% positive where they live. Either in the USA or [name_f]England[/name_f]. Leaning towards somewhere out of the U.S. but I’ve never been anywhere else except for the Canadian side of [name_u]Lake[/name_u] [name_u]Erie[/name_u], so I know nothing about the rest of the world. And they say write what you do know.
Brief Plot: The girls are sisters. They are either twins or very close in age (like less than a year). I’m also considering making them step sisters. The girls are facing high school and the challenges there. [name_m]Both[/name_m] girls are very close and are writing a book together, causing tension.

This is how I would picture [name_f]Thalia[/name_f] and [name_f]Delilah[/name_f] in my head. To me they are sisters who are less than a year apart, probably 11 months.
[name_f]Thalia[/name_f] - the older one. She is more serious than her sister and loves to lose herself in a good book. She does well academically in school. She doesn’t have the same social skills as her sister but is very kind to her few close friends. She sometimes bosses her little sister around and is very protective of her despite their small age gap. She has long, straight brown hair with glasses and light brown eyes and she likes to paint her nails weird colours.
[name_f]Delilah[/name_f] - the more outgoing younger sister. [name_f]Delilah[/name_f] likes to have fun and sometimes goes a bit crazy, which can get on [name_f]Thalia[/name_f]'s nerves. She is smart, but doesn’t really care about reaching her full potential. She is popular-ish, the kind of girl who gets along with everyone. She loves to laugh and make other people smile. [name_f]Thalia[/name_f] is one of [name_f]Delilah[/name_f]'s closest friends and [name_f]Delilah[/name_f] admires [name_f]Thalia[/name_f]'s ability to focus, something which she sometimes lacks. She has long dark blond hair which curls at the ends and blue eyes. She loves wearing vintage-style dresses and doing her hair in different styles.
I think I’m going with kinda the opposite of the last reply.
[name_f]Thalia[/name_f]- I think she would be the more outgoing of the two, but not extremely outgoing or anything, she likes to blend in with the crowd in places she isn’t accustomed to. I’d say she is tall-ish, average weight, and has straight dark brown hair reaching a bit below her shoulders. She can lash out if something gets on her nerves and won’t back down in any scenario.
[name_f]Delilah[/name_f]- Very quiet and soft-spoken, virtually unknown in her school, but she doesn’t care. She is very nice and caring if you get to know her. She is about the same height and weight as [name_f]Thalia[/name_f], but has long, pitch black hair and tanner skin. Like [name_f]Thalia[/name_f], she likes to blend into the crowd, but everywhere instead of only some places.
T- older one, but only by a few minutes. Tallish, blonde hair (maybe out of a bottle), skinny side of average build. outgoing, not quite popular but has lots of friends. Gets away with a lot and can be wild, but is very sweet and basically a good kid. Used to getting her way. Very protective of her little sister. Doesn’t always make good grades but is very smart. Athletic (track or volleyball?)
D- shorter than her sister with dark hair. Reserved and sort of shy, less popular than T but has a group of close friends she hangs out with. Can’t stand parties but goes to them anyway. Tries really hard to make good grades. Short temper. Stubborn like her sister. Can be judgemental but is nice to everyone. Isn’t good at sports but is a great artist.
