Need Help with William and the Boys

The boy list has become a bit muddled in recent weeks. [name]William[/name] is still very much #1 and is pretty much set in stone, but all the others have kind of become equal and I can’t really rank them anymore :frowning:

So basically, it’s time for berry help. Which of the following do you think work best with [name]William[/name]? Or, could you perhaps rank them???

I love [name]Arthur[/name], [name]Henry[/name] and [name]Thomas[/name] with [name]William[/name]. It gives me aliterary vibe; [name]Miller[/name], Kissinger/[name]Thoreau[/name]/[name]Miller[/name], [name]Hardy[/name] & [name]Faulkner[/name], or a historical vibe; [name]King[/name] [name]Arthur[/name], various [name]King[/name] [name]Henry[/name]'s, [name]Thomas[/name] of Bayeux and [name]William[/name] the Conqueror. I like [name]Benjamin[/name] too though… and [name]Alexander[/name] is very handsome too. [name]Peter[/name] and [name]Joseph[/name] are wonderful as well. Good list. It’s funny; my boyfriend’s name as well as all his three brothers names are on your list!

Thank you for the feedback, Otter :slight_smile: I love the literary & historical connections- I’d never have thought of those, though [name]King[/name] [name]Arthur[/name] has crossed my mind as an appealing namesake. I know these names are nowhere near as magical as yours, but I can picture little [name]William[/name], [name]Arthur[/name] & Co. playing as knights and fighting dragons in the woods :slight_smile: As for your boyfriend’s parents… they have great taste :wink:

Well, our top three boys’ names are also [name]William[/name], [name]Alexander[/name], and [name]Benjamin[/name], so obviously I think those make a wonderful sibset! But I also like [name]Joseph[/name] and [name]Thomas[/name] with [name]William[/name], and if you don’t mind getting a little royal, [name]Henry[/name] and [name]Arthur[/name] would be fun as well with [name]William[/name].

They’re all wonderful names, though. I can understand why you’re having trouble deciding!

Thanks mega_muffin! I think I’m going to keep [name]Alexander[/name] for now. I can’t imagine not having an [name]Alec[/name]/[name]Santo[/name] with [name]William[/name] at the moment. [name]Benjamin[/name]'s been demoted though but [name]Joseph[/name] & [name]Thomas[/name] are looking good for taking his place :slight_smile:
