Need help!

Please give me your thoughts on [name]Genevieve[/name] [name]Tula[/name]. My husband loves the name [name]Tula[/name] and [name]Genevieve[/name] is a name that we be both love as well. What about the name [name]Emmeline[/name] [name]Tula[/name]? Which one sounds better? Thank you for your help.

Oh, [name]Genevieve[/name] [name]Tula[/name] gets my vote. [name]Genevieve[/name] has waaaay more character than [name]Emmeline[/name]! And I like the options [name]Genevieve[/name] offers more than the ones [name]Emmeline[/name] offers. (and I’m generally a sucker for the -een sound as -ine at the end of a name) [name]Genevieve[/name] [name]Tula[/name], by a mile!

i like both names. however i think [name]Genevieve[/name] [name]Tula[/name] is a little better. good luck!

OOHH! [name]Genevieve[/name] [name]Tula[/name] is fantastic! [name]Genevieve[/name] and [name]Emmeline[/name] are two of my favorite names, and I’m in agreement with [name]Lola[/name] and Emilyann about [name]Genevieve[/name] over [name]Emmeline[/name] in this case. Best wishes to you!

[name]Genevieve[/name] also definitely gets my vote. I think it sounds lovely with [name]Tula[/name]!

[name]Love[/name] [name]Genevieve[/name] [name]Tula[/name]!

Thank you for your input, I also wanted to check and see what you thought of using [name]Charles[/name] as brother to [name]Genevieve[/name]?

I think [name]Charles[/name] is a perfect match for [name]Genevieve[/name]! Great combo!

[name]Love[/name] [name]Genevieve[/name] and [name]Charles[/name]! Two of my faves!

Thank you, [name]Charles[/name] is the name of my DH’s best friend that passed away, so we would name him [name]Charles[/name] [name]Martin[/name] K. ([name]Martin[/name] being my maiden name). I have been trying to think of girl sibling names to go with [name]Genevieve[/name], but I am having trouble. I would like to honor my mother [name]Beverly[/name] [name]Jo[/name], but I am not in love with either of her names. She was called [name]Grace[/name] as a childhood nn by her parents so maybe I could incorporate that. Names that are out, either by DH or just in general, are: [name]Emmeline[/name], [name]Joanne[/name] (or any variation), and [name]Scarlett[/name]. Any help would be much appreciated!

[name]Charles[/name] [name]Martin[/name] is lovely. I’m so sorry about your husband’s friend, [name]Charles[/name], who passed away. :frowning: [name]Genevieve[/name] is one of my all-time favorites, and it goes nicely with classic/vintage/stylish names.

What about expanding your mom’s [name]Jo[/name] to [name]Josephine[/name]? [name]Genevieve[/name] and [name]Josephine[/name] sounds great! You could also use her initial, B, for [name]Beatrice[/name], [name]Beatrix[/name], or [name]Blythe[/name].

You could also use [name]Grace[/name], her nickname, for [name]Genevieve[/name]'s middle name, instead of [name]Tula[/name]. [name]Genevieve[/name] [name]Grace[/name].

Other names that work with [name]Genevieve[/name]:

I absolutely love both [name]Genevieve[/name] and [name]Charles[/name]! Here are some suggestions for sister names:

[name]Charlotte[/name] (but not if you use [name]Charles[/name])
[name]Georgiana[/name] (might be too close to [name]Genevieve[/name])
Wilhemina (this one feels kind of odd to me, but I am beginning to like it)

[name]Just[/name] a few off the top of my head. Whoa, [name]Jill[/name] and I were posting at the same time! Sorry for repeats!
