We have a son named [name_m]Lysander[/name_m] and we cannot decide on a name if we have another son (we aren’t finding out the sex). Our choices are [name_m]Alistair[/name_m] or [name_m]Lachlan[/name_m]. Having issues because [name_m]Lysander[/name_m] and [name_m]Alistair[/name_m] end the same sound and [name_m]Lysander[/name_m] and [name_m]Lachlan[/name_m] start with the same and having names that start with the same letter is a small pet peeve.

I think both sound fine with [name_m]Lysander[/name_m], but I prefer [name_m]Lachlan[/name_m].

Definitely [name_m]Lysander[/name_m] and [name_m]Alistair[/name_m] for me! I don’t know where you live, but [name_m]Lachlan[/name_m] is immensely popular (to the point of being overused) here in Australia and it sounds wrong with the distinguished, handsome, rare [name_m]Lysander[/name_m].
