[name_m]Hi[/name_m] guys. I’m due with my 2nd baby in 2 weeks! We have been trying so hard to find the right name but it’s been very difficult because we don’t know the sex. For some reason, it’s just made it really hard. Our daughters name is [name_f]Marabelle[/name_f] [name_f]Everleigh[/name_f], shes 3.

Name we like but can’t use are…
[name_m]Lukas[/name_m] (too close to husbands name)
[name_m]Harvey[/name_m] (A little boy in [name_f]Mara[/name_f]'s class has this name. We also know too others)
[name_m]Oliver[/name_m] (too popular)
[name_m]Jayson[/name_m] (See [name_m]Oliver[/name_m])

The names we do have are Brekon, Rylend and Matrix. Which sounds best with [name_f]Marabelle[/name_f]? We would love to get some more suggestions though as we are not 100% sure on any of those names? The baby’s middle name will be Emersin, which ever gender.

Matrix sounds beautiful with [name_f]Marabelle[/name_f]. However, if [name_f]Marabelle[/name_f]'s nickname is [name_f]Belle[/name_f], Brekon & [name_u]Bell[/name_u] have a nice ring. I prefer Matrix, as it has a nice, mysterious sound.

My favourite is Brekon although I don’t care for unique spellings as he would have to spell his name out constantly and I think it would get very tiresome. I like [name_m]Brecken[/name_m] though and also the nn [name_m]Breck[/name_m].

I’m not really feeling it for Brekon, Rylend, or Matrix. [name_f]Marabelle[/name_f] has such a classic feel to it, those boys’ names just don’t seem to fit with it. It looks like you’re going for something unique and modern with a strong sound for a boy; I think there are some good classic options (more like [name_m]Harvey[/name_m] and [name_m]Lukas[/name_m]) that would go better with sister’s name. Or, some little tweaks to the three you listed would help bring them into the same realm as [name_f]Marabelle[/name_f] [name_f]Everleigh[/name_f].

For example, [name_m]Breccan[/name_m] is the original Irish spelling of Brekon. [name_m]Breckin[/name_m] is another spelling that looks a little more classic but would probably be easier for modern spellers than either [name_m]Breccan[/name_m] or Brekon.

[name_m]Ryland[/name_m] looks a little more classic than the more modern Rylend, although they sound the same.

I can’t think of a classic analog for Matrix; it’s 100% modern and very unique. To me, it comes on a little too strong, especially side by side with [name_f]Marabelle[/name_f], which is such a sweet and lovely old-fashioned name. It’s like a black leather jacket next to a muslin dress with an empire waist.
