We will be finding out the sex of baby #2 soon and want to have our names hammered out. We had previously decided on [name_m]Thomas[/name_m] [name_m]Hawthorne[/name_m] (nn. Hawke or [name_m]Thorne[/name_m]) but I’m honestly to sure if I love it anymore. I really like the name [name_u]Alden[/name_u] (nn. [name_m]Auley[/name_m]) but am having a hard time finding a middle name for it. I think I would like a name that ends in an -ey, ie sound, but not necessarily. If this baby is a girl we will call her [name_f]Luna[/name_f]. Big brother is [name_u]Rex[/name_u].
Thanks for the suggestions. The first name would actually be [name_u]Alden[/name_u]; it may not change much. I hadn’t considered that it’s so close to [name_u]Aiden[/name_u] - I’m not a fan of all the -aden names that are so popular right now.
I like [name_u]Alden[/name_u] [name_u]Finley[/name_u] though. Thanks!
I am a nickname person. I love [name_m]Hawthorne[/name_m], but just feel like Hawke is a little harsh? I think that describes how I feel about it. I kind of feel the same about [name_m]Thorne[/name_m].
Some other names I like to get a feel for my style: [name_u]Arlo[/name_u], [name_u]Porter[/name_u], [name_u]Lawrence[/name_u], [name_m]Jack[/name_m]. I feel like [name_f]Americana[/name_f] type names are what I am drawn to. Hubby doesn’t care for any of the above choices.
[name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_u]Rex[/name_u] and [name_m]Thomas[/name_m] [name_m]Hawthorne[/name_m]! [name_u]Alden[/name_u] [name_m]Hawthorne[/name_m] would be lovely too. [name_u]Rex[/name_u] and [name_m]Thorne[/name_m] are pretty perfect together.
