We found out we are expecting boy #4. Since this is our fourth boy, I’ve already looked at thousands of boy names over the years. I don’t tend to like a whole lot of boy names, so I feel like I’ve already chosen the ones that I do like. So, this is quite the predicament. (My husband basically lets me choose the names, although he did choose the middle name [name_m]Jacob[/name_m] for our second son).
I don’t like super trendy names (think: [name_m]Jax[/name_m], [name_u]Lennox[/name_u], [name_m]Axel[/name_m], etc.) but I also don’t like super traditional/common names for a first name ([name_m]Matthew[/name_m], [name_m]Daniel[/name_m], [name_m]Christopher[/name_m], etc.).
For reference, these are our sons’ names. And it wasn’t planned that they all end in an ‘N.’ It just kind of happened that way.
[name_m]Brenden[/name_m], [name_m]Ethan[/name_m] and [name_m]Julian[/name_m] are gorgeous names! I’d go with something equally gorgeous (and untrendy) using the final “n” sound such as [name_u]Owen[/name_u], [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m], [name_m]Aaron[/name_m], [name_m]Stephen[/name_m], [name_m]Fabian[/name_m], [name_m]Declan[/name_m], [name_m]Simon[/name_m].
It sounds like you won’t consider the [name_u]Brayden[/name_u], [name_u]Jaden[/name_u], [name_m]Kaden[/name_m] set (good!) and the last names as first names ([name_m]Jackson[/name_m], [name_u]Mason[/name_u], [name_u]Lennon[/name_u], [name_m]Harrison[/name_m], [name_u]Logan[/name_u]) don’t seem like your style (good!). Also, male names that are now mostly female would be out of the question (even though they were once nice male names): [name_u]Jordan[/name_u], [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] and [name_u]Dylan[/name_u].
I am in the SAME BOAT as you!!! I’m also having my 4th boy (6th baby) wondering what name we’ll use this time!? We’ve also used N-ending names for our boys, although that wasn’t planned either. So I will give you my boys’ names and a few we’ve considered and see if you like any. (Plus follow this thread to get some good ideas!)
Our boys: [name_u]Logan[/name_u], [name_u]Carson[/name_u] and [name_m]Quinton[/name_m]
Names we’re considering this time: [name_m]Nolan[/name_m], [name_m]Simon[/name_m], [name_u]Rowen[/name_u]/[name_u]Rowan[/name_u].
