[name_m]Hi[/name_m]!
I am writing a novel about a pair of girl/boy twins that were born in the 1700’s and stopped aging when they turned 18. The setting is located in modern day [name_u]America[/name_u] (mostly in the [name_u]North[/name_u], though they do travel frequently throughout the story). Both twins have black hair (the girl’s to her waist, and the boy’s to his shoulders) and silver-blue eyes.
For the girl, I would prefer a name that reflects her personality. She is bold, unafraid to speak her mind (despite it might hurting or offending others), and is very sarcastic. She isn’t bitter, but she has a lot of anger that stems from her childhood. She frequently picks fights with her brother, but despite this, at the end of the day, she would trade her life for his.
The boy is almost the opposite of the girl. He is apathetic to everything that doesn’t directly affect him or his sister. He lacks the ability to feel compassion for anybody but his sister. In this way, I guess you can say he is a bit of a sociopath. However, he feels a strong, familial love for his sister, and would do anything to make her happy.
The names don’t have to match, but I would love if they flow nicely together. I absolutely despise using the same letter for both names, so please refrain from giving those suggestions. I want something uncommon, but also realistic.
Thanks!
A last name might help, so that the full names flow right. Or some names you’ve considered before, but here’s some ideas!
Girl:
[name_f]Abigail[/name_f] “[name_u]Abby[/name_u]”
[name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] “[name_f]Betty[/name_f]/[name_f]Bea[/name_f]”
[name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] is a lovely classic name with MANY opportunities for interesting & modern nicknames; [name_f]Eliza[/name_f], [name_f]Liz[/name_f], [name_f]Beth[/name_f], [name_f]Ella[/name_f], [name_f]Ellie[/name_f], [name_f]Betty[/name_f], Zab, [name_f]Bess[/name_f], [name_f]Betsy[/name_f], [name_f]Nellie[/name_f]…

There were a lot of religious/[name_m]Christian[/name_m] names, a LOT of the usual names (like [name_f]Mary[/name_f], [name_f]Anne[/name_f], [name_f]Catherine[/name_f], etc…) but I tried to find some more unique ones? [name_f]Hope[/name_f] I helped or inspired!
I think you could do [name_f]Victoria[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] and [name_u]Emmett[/name_u].
