Hello! Found out at the end of [name]December[/name] that we are pregnant with our first together. [name]Don[/name]'t know what it is yet, but I am looking for some new name ideas, especially with middle names! He is more mainstream than myself which makes a lot of conversations pretty short- ie, I asked him about [name]Greer[/name] tonight and it’s too “weird” for him.
Some first names we have come to a “loose” agreement on-
girl- [name]Amelia[/name](I’m concerned about popularity), [name]Elliott[/name] (more my style than his, still working on it),[name]Margaret[/name]/[name]Maggie[/name] (he likes the nickname more than the formal). Boys- [name]Lennox[/name], [name]Killian[/name] (more me again).
I’m struggling with middle names, especially for girls. Flow of the name is important- the last name is only 2 syllables, but 8 letters long, which for him axes out longer names ie-[name]Alexandra[/name]. Essentially we are looking for short one syllable middle names-his favorite is [name]Rose[/name], which he wanted to use for his second daughter, but didn’t end up that way and I have kiboshed it seeing how my older sister and youngest neice both have it as their middle name. My issue is I don’t want to use a “filler” middle name and lots of names are taken seeing how we have larger families. 
Examples that are out for one reason or another-
[name]Rose[/name], [name]Lyn/name,[name]Morgan[/name],[name]Renae[/name],Cla(i)re, [name]Marie[/name] (not necessarily out, but want to avoid it if possible),[name]Kay/name, [name]Grace[/name] (same as [name]Marie[/name]), [name]Joy[/name] etc.
If it’s a boy, we like [name]Jay[/name] as a nod to daddy, without having to use his name ([name]Jason[/name]) but it’s not set in stone by any means.
Open to lots of new ideas. I know some of my choices will not fall in line with many people’s opinions, if you want to ask questions go ahead
