Need opinion

So I was playing with a couple letters for the name of my female protagonist in my new upcoming novel. I decided to name her Evrielle/Évrielle with the middle name [name_f]Azure[/name_f]. But as I kept saying and carefully pronouncing the name, I decided I liked e-vri-el-la-zure much better then e-vri-elle a-zure. So now I’m here thinking about changing the name to Evriellazure or Evrielazure but I feel like it’smuch too long. Four syllable names are uncommon but not unheard of, but I have never heard if a five syllable name. In the very beginning I considered Evrielle being nicknamed [name_f]Elle[/name_f], [name_f]Ella[/name_f] or [name_f]Ellie[/name_f], and also changing her name to Evriella. Now I’m considering having Evrielle itself as a nickname, or maybe using my old choices or something new like [name_f]Azure[/name_f], [name_u]Zuri[/name_u] (but that’s the same as [name_u]Zuri[/name_u] [name_m]Ross[/name_m] from Disney, so) Elaz, Lazzy/Lazzie or Azzy/[name_f]Azzie[/name_f]. Maybe Zura ir Zuray as a variation of [name_u]Zuri[/name_u]. But I just don’t know.

Evrielle is a fifteen year old blond girl with freckles, pale blue eyes and even paler skin, caused from a common sideaffect of something that would be a half-spoiler and is common around the people there. I haven’t decided her height yet. She has a best friend named [name_f]Kiera[/name_f] [name_u]Blue[/name_u] (just [name_f]Kiera[/name_f] or [name_m]Kier[/name_m] as a nickname) and has a love triangle between [name_m]Brendan[/name_m]/[name_m]Brandon[/name_m] and [name_u]Lex[/name_u]. She is the protagonist of a YA scifi-dystopian fantasy adventure novel (that’s a handful) and is quirky, sassy, stubborn but also very sweet from time to time. Oh, and clueless like every single YA character at the beginning of the series.

So yeah, please tell me which name you prefer. Thanks!

I think that Evrielle (and Evriella!) are beautiful names, and [name_f]Azure[/name_f] is also quite lovely.

However, Evriellazure is what I’m on the fence about here. If you say it ev-ree-ell-uh-zure, I like it! In that case, I think it may work, though I still find it a bit cumbersome.

But when I first read the name, I went with the way that I’ve always heard [name_f]Azure[/name_f] pronounced (dictionary pronunciation), which, rather than uh-zure, is more a-shure. And ev-ree-ell-a-shure is a bit of a mouthful.

So, I suggest that you either stick with just Evrielle or [name_f]Azure[/name_f], call Evrielleazure by a nickname most of the time, or have her directly define how to pronounce her name in dialogue, which I think would be your best option if you choose to go with the full name - for example (sorry but I write high fantasy so I’m just going to use a wizard in the example I know your story isn’t really epic fantasy but bear with me):

The wizard stared at Evrielleazure. “And, you are…ah, Miss…?”

“Evrielleazure,” she said.

“Pardon me?”

“It’s pronounced…” (fill in with however you’d like the name to be pronounced)

[name_f]Happy[/name_f] writing!

I think that any name could be passed as a real name in a novel, especially in a dystopian novel. Depends, are you more loyal to the male names or the female names. The name [name_m]Brendon[/name_m] is too normal in the same universe as Evrielleazure, and Evrielleazure is too uncommon in a normal name setting.
That said, Evrielleazure is giving me a headache as a spelling and Evrielazure looks very pretty so I’d use Evrielazure if you choose to name her this.
