Need opinions on 2 questions

[name]Hi[/name] ladies,

I have 2 questions. First off, do you think [name]Amelia[/name] and [name]Emmeline[/name] are too similar for a sibset? My thought is that they are very similar.

2nd question - I love the name [name]Eloise[/name]. My [name]SIL[/name] (husbands side) who we do not interact with at all has a 10 year old daughter named [name]Aloisa[/name]. She has never been nice to me. My question is should I name a girl [name]Eloise[/name]. We wanted to call her [name]Ellie[/name] for short. [name]Don[/name]'t get me wrong, if she was a close friend of mine, I would never use this name but since we havent seen them in 5 years, I feel like it shouldn’t matter if I use it. I put off naming my third child this because I didn’t want the drama. Since then however, the relationship with my hubbys family has gone downhill and I am OK with that. In other words, what they think doesn’t matter to me as much as it would have last year. Thoughts?

Thanks Ladies.

[name]Eloise[/name] goes perfect with my sibset.

[name]Amelia[/name] and [name]Emmeline[/name] are very similar in look and sound, but if you love both names, I think they could work as sisters.

As for the name [name]Eloise[/name], I see absolutely no reason why you shouldn’t use it. It depends, of course, on how your husband feels on the matter. But [name]Aloisa[/name] and [name]Eloise[/name] are different names (of course, only marginally different), and there is a ten-year gap between the girls’ ages (if you are expecting right now). If the cousins would rarely or never see each other, I don’t see how it could cause any confusion. If I were the mother of [name]Aloisa[/name] and my sister-in-law named her daughter [name]Eloise[/name], I don’t think it would bother me. They are similar, but not the same.

I agree with alzora on both questions. I think both options work.
