hi everyone, I am having twin girls in [name]December[/name] and need help with their names. My son is named [name]Jude[/name]. My husband and I agree on [name]Lucy[/name]. We are not sure about the second name. The three that we like the most are [name]Stella[/name], [name]Skye[/name], or [name]Ruby[/name]. Our last name is [name]Green[/name]…we are wondering what everyone likes best.
Well, [name]Lucy[/name] and [name]Stella[/name] work really well together and with [name]Jude[/name], [name]IMO[/name].
I wouldn’t use the other two…[name]Ruby[/name] [name]Green[/name]? Two clashing colors. And [name]Skye[/name] [name]Green[/name]. People would constantly tell her that, no, the sky is blue. I also don’t like [name]Skye[/name] because it’s a totally different vibe than [name]Jude[/name] and [name]Lucy[/name].
I love [name]Ruby[/name], but maybe it is a little matchy with [name]Lucy[/name]. I’m not a huge fan of [name]Stella[/name], but I do like the -a ending in [name]Stella[/name] to go with [name]Jude[/name] and [name]Lucy[/name]. [name]Lucy[/name] and [name]Skye[/name] make me think of [name]Lucy[/name] in the [name]Sky[/name] with Diamonds. Especially with brother [name]Jude[/name]! If you want to go with a subtle Beatles reference, I would suggest [name]Eleanor[/name]. :-). Otherwise, maybe [name]Cora[/name] or [name]Ava[/name]?

Hmm, I have to agree with the pp about [name]Ruby[/name] and [name]Skye[/name] not working that well with [name]Green[/name]. I do love both names though. I think [name]Lucy[/name] is great and I love [name]Stella[/name] with [name]Lucy[/name], but [name]Stella[/name] might feel left out that you can’t sing a fun Beatles song to her at night (if you like the Beatles).
If you like [name]Skye[/name], maybe [name]Schuyler[/name] would be a better choice to go with [name]Green[/name]. Or [name]Estelle[/name] & [name]Lucille[/name] for full names and [name]Stella[/name] & [name]Lucy[/name] for nicknames.
I like [name]Stella[/name] and [name]Lucy[/name] the best with [name]Jude[/name]. [name]Green[/name] is a difficult surname when it comes to colour like [name]Ruby[/name] and [name]Skye[/name].

[name]Stella[/name], definitely. [name]Lucy[/name] and [name]Ruby[/name] are too close for twins, and [name]Ruby[/name] and [name]Skye[/name] sound odd with [name]Green[/name]. I think [name]Jude[/name], [name]Stella[/name], and [name]Lucy[/name] make a great sibset.
[name]Jude[/name], [name]Lucy[/name] and [name]Stella[/name] would be a lovely trio of siblings.
Stella is stand alone name and it means star. That’s legal full version since time of Roman empire.
[name]Lucy[/name] and [name]Stella[/name] are great for twins! I agree with the pp about [name]Ruby[/name] and [name]Skye[/name] clashing with [name]Green[/name]. They are all lovely, though.

As much as it pains me to say this, I would say [name]Stella[/name] ( though I really dislike the name). It definitely works better than [name]Ruby[/name] or [name]Skye[/name].
Have you considered [name]Ella[/name] or [name]Emma[/name], [name]Rebecca[/name] or [name]Jane[/name]?
[name]Stella[/name] is so darn trendy and not at all attractive in my opinion.
Out of your choices, [name]Stella[/name] for sure. [name]Ruby[/name], [name]Jude[/name], and [name]Lucy[/name] is way too much of the “u” sound, in addition to the color clash. [name]Skye[/name] [name]Green[/name] is also a funny image, color-wise.
I think [name]Stella[/name] and [name]Lucy[/name] go really nicely together another suggestion is [name]Holly[/name] as the baby is being born in [name]December[/name] which is the month of Chistmas
I love [name]Jude[/name], [name]Lucy[/name] and [name]Stella[/name] together! I think they compliment each other. I think [name]Skye[/name] would seem misplaced with [name]Jude[/name] and [name]Lucy[/name], and I can only picture [name]Ruby[/name] on a little girl- personally I find that [name]Ruby[/name] doesn’t age very well. Plus, I agree both [name]Skye[/name] and [name]Ruby[/name] would be a little odd with [name]Green[/name].
Not only do I like [name]Stella[/name] best (on its own, and with [name]Jude[/name] and [name]Lucy[/name]), BUT also…both [name]Skye[/name] and [name]Ruby[/name] evoke strong colour images, and with your last name, it’s a little much. So either way, my vote goes to [name]Lucy[/name] and [name]Stella[/name].

I have to say my problem is I love love the name [name]Skye[/name] since I was little, but I am very leery of it with my last name. Hard for me to give it up.
