Need opinions on names for our spring baby

Hello! Would love to get opinions on our girls list and any combinations of the names for our baby due this spring (we don’t know the sex of the baby yet). We have a daughter named [name_f]Felicity[/name_f], so I’d like the girls name to match the beauty of her name! Last name similar to [name_m]Wilson[/name_m].

So far we have:
[name_f]Alice[/name_f]
[name_f]Sylvia[/name_f]
[name_f]Juliet[/name_f]
[name_f]Cecelia[/name_f]
[name_f]Josephine[/name_f]
[name_f]Davina[/name_f] (too unusual?)
[name_f]Christiana[/name_f]
[name_f]Eliza[/name_f]
[name_f]Alexandra[/name_f] (family name for middle)
[name_u]Marian[/name_u] (family name for middle)
[name_u]Lee[/name_u] (family name for second middle?)

Thank you so much!

My favorites with [name_f]Felicity[/name_f] are [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] and [name_f]Cecelia[/name_f]. They have the same bright, cheery femininity.

[name_f]Juliet[/name_f], [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f], and [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] are all beautiful names!

[name_f]Alice[/name_f] - Very classic, but not overused. I really don’t think you can go wrong with [name_f]Alice[/name_f] right now!
[name_f]Sylvia[/name_f] - Not so common, but it reminds me of my favorite poet, [name_f]Sylvia[/name_f] Plath
[name_f]Juliet[/name_f] - It’s pretty, but kind of common, if you’re conscious of that sort of thing.
[name_f]Cecelia[/name_f] - I like it spelled with an I in place of the second E, but this one is one of my favorites!
[name_f]Josephine[/name_f] - Gorgeous. So refined!
[name_f]Davina[/name_f] - Not at all too unusual. For awhile, one of my favorites was [name_f]Darina[/name_f], and that’s just a letter off. I know a [name_f]Davida[/name_f].
[name_f]Christiana[/name_f] - Personally nms, but it’s pretty and you have lots of nickname options.
[name_f]Eliza[/name_f] - Super classic, short, and a little spunky imo. I like it more than [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f], except when it comes to the nickname [name_f]Zibby[/name_f].
[name_f]Alexandra[/name_f] (family name for middle) - It’s common in the first name spot, but not the middle. I think it’d be nice. My middle name was almost [name_f]Alexandria[/name_f], which is just a letter off.
[name_u]Marian[/name_u] (family name for middle) - Reminds me of [name_u]Marian[/name_u] [name_m]Anderson[/name_m], who was an extraordinary contralto and a groundbreaker for black performers, so I have a very positive idea of the name. I like it!
[name_u]Lee[/name_u] (family name for second middle?) - Nms, but it could work well as a second middle.

Combos for you:

[name_f]Alice[/name_f] [name_u]Marian[/name_u]
[name_f]Juliet[/name_f] [name_u]Marian[/name_u]
[name_f]Sylvia[/name_f] [name_u]Marian[/name_u]
[name_f]Eliza[/name_f] [name_u]Marian[/name_u] ([name_u]Lee[/name_u]?)
[name_f]Christiana[/name_f] [name_u]Marian[/name_u]
[name_f]Cecelia[/name_f] [name_u]Marian[/name_u] ([name_u]Lee[/name_u]?)

[name_f]Josephine[/name_f] [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f] ([name_u]Lee[/name_u]?)
[name_f]Juliet[/name_f] [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f]
[name_f]Eliza[/name_f] [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f]
[name_f]Davina[/name_f] [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f] ([name_u]Lee[/name_u]?)

My favorite combos out of those, personally, are [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f] ([name_u]Lee[/name_u]), [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f], [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] [name_u]Marian[/name_u] ([name_u]Lee[/name_u]), and [name_f]Sylvia[/name_f] [name_u]Marian[/name_u].

I love [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] and [name_f]Cecelia[/name_f] with [name_f]Felicity[/name_f]! The only thing is (I don’t know if you mind the meaning of names) [name_f]Cecelia[/name_f] means blind

Other Suggestions:

[name_f]Coralie[/name_f]
[name_f]Violet[/name_f]
[name_f]Elodie[/name_f]
[name_f]Celia[/name_f] (means heaven and you could use the nn [name_f]Cece[/name_f])

[name_f]Felicity[/name_f] is a stunning name! You have great taste in names.

[name_f]Alice[/name_f] - [name_f]Lovely[/name_f] classic and timeless name. I’m unsure of the flow with [name_f]Felicity[/name_f] but it’s a very pretty name. 7/10
[name_f]Sylvia[/name_f] - [name_f]Sylvia[/name_f] matches the spunk and cheerfulness of [name_f]Felicity[/name_f] however I marginally prefer [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f]. 6.5/10
[name_f]Juliet[/name_f] - One of my top picks for you! It works brilliantly and certainly matches the beauty of [name_f]Felicity[/name_f]! Gorgeous. 10/10
[name_f]Cecelia[/name_f] - [name_f]Cecelia[/name_f] is an extravagant and lovely name. It flows well with [name_f]Felicity[/name_f]. 8/10
[name_f]Josephine[/name_f] - Beautiful. I love the nickname [name_u]Josie[/name_u] and Phina. 8/10
[name_f]Davina[/name_f] - It’s a bit obscure but I don’t hate it. 5/10
[name_f]Christiana[/name_f] - I think that this is too much of a mouthful but I think it’s very elegant. 6/10
[name_f]Eliza[/name_f] - I adore this name! My second favorite pick for a sister to [name_f]Felicity[/name_f]. 9/10
[name_f]Alexandra[/name_f] (family name for middle) - I agree with PP, it’s a common first but a rare middle. I like it with [name_f]Juliet[/name_f]. [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f] is lovely. 9/10
[name_u]Marian[/name_u] (family name for middle) - Great middle name! Like [name_f]Alice[/name_f], it’s timeless and classic. I like it with [name_f]Sylvia[/name_f], [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] and [name_f]Cecelia[/name_f]. 8/10.
[name_u]Lee[/name_u] (family name for second middle?) - Simple yet pretty, it isn’t my top pick but I like it as a contrast to the elaborate [name_f]Christiana[/name_f]. 6/10

I love:

[name_f]Alice[/name_f]
[name_f]Eliza[/name_f]
[name_f]Cecelia[/name_f]
[name_f]Juliet[/name_f]
[name_f]Sylvia[/name_f]
[name_f]Josephine[/name_f]

My favorites are [name_f]Alice[/name_f] and [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] and I really like them both with [name_f]Felicity[/name_f]! I also like [name_f]Davina[/name_f] but it’s less popular than [name_f]Felicity[/name_f] by more than a little ([name_f]Felicity[/name_f]'s in the top 400 while [name_f]Davina[/name_f] isn’t even in the top 1000s), so I personally wouldn’t pair them together but if that doesn’t bother you then I like [name_f]Davina[/name_f] with [name_f]Felicity[/name_f] too!

I like these best as a sister for [name_f]Felicity[/name_f] (although I really like them all, except for maybe [name_f]Davina[/name_f])

[name_f]Juliet[/name_f] [name_u]Marian[/name_u]
[name_f]Josephine[/name_f] [name_u]Marian[/name_u]

I think all of your options are good, but [name_f]Davina[/name_f] in particular is perfect with [name_f]Felicity[/name_f] (not to unusual at all!) Something like [name_f]Davina[/name_f] [name_u]Marian[/name_u] or [name_f]Davina[/name_f] [name_u]Lee[/name_u] would be gorgeous.

[name_f]Alice[/name_f] - One of my favorite names! Perfect with [name_f]Felicity[/name_f].
[name_f]Sylvia[/name_f] - I haven’t really been able to see the appeal of this name honestly. It’s not awful, I just don’t care for it.
[name_f]Juliet[/name_f] - [name_u]Love[/name_u] this! Another one of my favorites.
[name_f]Cecelia[/name_f] - Another favorite
[name_f]Josephine[/name_f] - Another favorite, haha. Though [name_f]Felicity[/name_f] and [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] make me think of the American Girl series (though that girl’s name was [name_f]Josefina[/name_f] I think)
[name_f]Davina[/name_f] (too unusual?) - It’s not my style, but it’s okay.
[name_f]Christiana[/name_f] - This is really pretty!
[name_f]Eliza[/name_f] - [name_u]Love[/name_u].
[name_f]Alexandra[/name_f] (family name for middle) - I love [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f] but not many of its nicknames, so I’m much in favor for it as a middle.
[name_u]Marian[/name_u] (family name for middle) - This is lovely.
[name_u]Lee[/name_u] (family name for second middle?) - I don’t like it as much as [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f] or [name_u]Marian[/name_u], but if the first name is long this could provide a good balance.

I love [name_f]Felicity[/name_f]! It’s such a pretty name, and I’m so happy to see it being used! I think [name_f]Alice[/name_f], [name_f]Sylvia[/name_f], [name_f]Juliet[/name_f], [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f], [name_f]Josephine[/name_f], and [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] sound really well with [name_f]Felicity[/name_f]!

My favourite names paired with [name_f]Felicity[/name_f] are [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] and [name_f]Eliza[/name_f], because names like [name_f]Alice[/name_f], [name_f]Sylvia[/name_f], and [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f] have a heavy “s” sound like [name_f]Felicity[/name_f]! They’re all beautiful names though! I think [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] sounds nice with [name_f]Felicity[/name_f], but it is not a name I particularly like.

I like [name_f]Alice[/name_f] and [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] the best with [name_f]Felicity[/name_f]. [name_f]Juliet[/name_f], [name_f]Cecelia[/name_f] and [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] could work! [name_f]Sylvia[/name_f] and [name_f]Felicity[/name_f] maybe share too many y/i’s, I think. I also really like [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f] as a middle

[name_f]Alice[/name_f]: Although it’s a lovely name, to me it doesn’t go well w/[name_f]Felicity[/name_f].
[name_f]Sylvia[/name_f]: I prefer [name_f]Silvie[/name_f], but that doesn’t go well w/[name_f]Felicity[/name_f]…but [name_f]Sylvia[/name_f]'s just NMS.
[name_f]Juliet[/name_f]: I love [name_f]Juliet[/name_f], but w/[name_f]Felicity[/name_f] some of your other choices work better [name_f]IMO[/name_f].
[name_f]Cecelia[/name_f]: I really like [name_f]Cecelia[/name_f] w/[name_f]Felicity[/name_f], but agree w/a pp that there are a lot of S sounds w/both of those names together.
[name_f]Josephine[/name_f]: I love this w/[name_f]Felicity[/name_f].
[name_f]Davina[/name_f] (too unusual?): I don’t think [name_f]Davina[/name_f]'s too unusual & really like it w/[name_f]Felicity[/name_f].
[name_f]Christiana[/name_f]: I love this name, but am not sure if it works w/[name_f]Felicity[/name_f] to my ear.
[name_f]Eliza[/name_f]: This goes really well w/[name_f]Felicity[/name_f] [name_f]IMO[/name_f].
[name_f]Alexandra[/name_f] (family name for middle)
[name_u]Marian[/name_u] (family name for middle)
[name_u]Lee[/name_u] (family name for second middle?)

W/o knowing what middle name [name_f]Felicity[/name_f] has, I find it hard to pick out a mn for your second because I would want them to have a similar feel. But here are some combos that I thought sounded nice together:

[name_f]Cecelia[/name_f] [name_u]Lee[/name_u]
[name_f]Josephine[/name_f] [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f]
[name_f]Davina[/name_f] [name_u]Marian[/name_u]
[name_f]Eliza[/name_f] [name_u]Lee[/name_u] [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f]

Good luck!

Wow! You and I have such similar taste in names! My daughter is named [name_f]Josephine[/name_f], and on my list if we have another girl are [name_f]Juliet[/name_f], [name_f]Felicity[/name_f], [name_f]Alice[/name_f], [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f], [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f], and [name_f]Sylvia[/name_f]. So naturally I think all of those names sound great together. [name_f]Eliza[/name_f], [name_f]Christiana[/name_f], and [name_f]Davina[/name_f] aren’t my favorites, but they are nice names. You can’t go wrong. If I had to pick, though, I guess I’d go with [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] [name_u]Marian[/name_u]. So pretty!

Out of your whole list of names, I’d have to go with [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f]. Second choice would be [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f]. =]

Wow! Thank you all for your wonderful comments and insight! I really appreciate it. It’s sounding like [name_f]Alice[/name_f], [name_f]Juliet[/name_f], [name_f]Eliza[/name_f], and [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] seem to be the top 4 picks of the group  I realized a few I forgot to include, in case anybody is still looking at this thread:

[name_f]Genevieve[/name_f]
[name_f]Freya[/name_f]/[name_f]Freja[/name_f] (I think it’s beautiful but I don’t think it goes with [name_f]Felicity[/name_f]. It’s my husbands favorite)
[name_f]Helena[/name_f]

I’m leaning towards [name_f]Alice[/name_f] or [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] as a first. [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] is a family name so I think i feel like I should use [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] to honor, but I’m not as crazy about it as I want to be.

Thanks again

Oh wow, [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] is also a gorgeous name!

I’m not actually crazy about [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] either, so I’m biased, but I think since you already have one honor name, you’re all set.

Honoring loved ones through naming is really great and all, but you and your husband deserve to pick a unique name for this little baby you made. Not to mention she deserves a unique name, as well! =]

[name_f]Glad[/name_f] to hear you’re leaning towards [name_f]Juliet[/name_f]. It’s so beautiful! [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] would also go good with [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f], but [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] is still my favorite.
