Need opinions on this family name

So I have been trying to think of a way to use 1 or both of my grandmothers’ names to name our daughter (if that’s what we are having in [name_f]October[/name_f] - we are not finding out). The problem is I just am not crazy about their first or middle names! [name_f]Helen[/name_f] [name_f]Mildred[/name_f] and [name_f]Betty[/name_f] [name_f]Louise[/name_f]. Using [name_f]Millie[/name_f] or [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] are out, as is [name_f]Helena[/name_f]. So I came across this nickname and wanted opinions:

Name her [name_f]Helen[/name_f] [name_f]Louise[/name_f] [name_m]Melton[/name_m] and call her [name_f]Lena[/name_f]. So at school she would be [name_f]Lena[/name_f] [name_m]Melton[/name_m].

What do you think? [name_f]Do[/name_f] you like the pronunciation [name_f]Leena[/name_f] or [name_f]Layna[/name_f] better? Or a different nickname?

Any other way to use their names that you can think of that you like better? Or should I just give up and use one for a middle name and something non-family for a 1st name?

[name_f]Helen[/name_f] [name_f]Louise[/name_f] is gorgeous! I would call her [name_f]Helen[/name_f], but [name_f]Lena[/name_f] prn [name_u]Lee[/name_u]-nuh is cute.

I love [name_f]Helen[/name_f] [name_f]Louise[/name_f]! It’s so cute and sophisticated at the same time. [name_f]Lena[/name_f] makes a cute nickname, too. I like the [name_f]Layna[/name_f] prn better, personally.

Other options:
[name_f]Henrietta[/name_f] as a first or middle name. He- from helen and -ett- from [name_f]Betty[/name_f]. It’s a bit of a stretch, but I would say its a good combo of [name_f]Helen[/name_f] and [name_f]Betty[/name_f].
[name_f]Lucy[/name_f] [name_f]Maud[/name_f], because both [name_f]Louise[/name_f] and [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] have the nickname [name_u]Lou[/name_u], and [name_f]Maud[/name_f] starts and ends in the same letters as [name_f]Mildred[/name_f].

[name_f]Helen[/name_f] [name_f]Louise[/name_f] is perfect! And I love [name_f]Lena[/name_f] as a nn. I pr. [name_f]Lena[/name_f] Leh - nuh.

I think if you’re going to call her [name_f]Lena[/name_f], you should name her [name_f]Helena[/name_f] instead of [name_f]Helen[/name_f]. You’re still paying tribute, but the [name_f]Lena[/name_f] comes more naturally from [name_f]Helena[/name_f].
