Need opinions on this sibset!

[name_f]Do[/name_f] you think [name_f]Annabella[/name_f] and [name_f]Anastasia[/name_f] would work as siblings? Those are the two names I seem to be the most drawn to and about the only names that I like all nickname possibilities and their pronunciations.

I think they’re distinctive enough to be their own and the added plus of having that connection of sharing the nn Anna/Ann (but ofc they would share their own separate nicknames)

AB would be [name_f]Anna[/name_f], [name_f]Bella[/name_f], [name_f]Ella[/name_f], [name_f]Belle[/name_f]
AS would be [name_f]Stasia[/name_f], Stassie/Stacey, [name_u]Sasha[/name_u]

What do you think personally? [name_f]Do[/name_f] you know any sibsets or do you have any sibsets on your list that have that somewhat matchy sound?

(or am I just overthinking this?)

Personally I think they are too close to both be first names, unfortunately. [name_m]Even[/name_m] if you usually call them [name_f]Bella[/name_f] and [name_f]Stasia[/name_f], for example, they could grow up and both prefer Anna/Ana or [name_f]Annie[/name_f], which could cause tension between them. [name_u]Or[/name_u], even if they usually go by their full names, I could see friends naturally defaulting to calling them Anna/Ana or [name_f]Annie[/name_f] since both are very obvious and intuitive nicknames.

I don’t mind matchy sibsets in general, but I do worry about names that share the same default nickname. That said, it’s not totally the end of the world. If those are the only two names you love, those are the two names you love. But personally I would recommend against it.

[name_f]Annabella[/name_f] and [name_f]Anastasia[/name_f] feel a bit too similar to me. They both start with A, have a longer name, and have the [name_f]Ana[/name_f] sound in the beginning of the name. I think they’re both beautiful names, but I wouldn’t put them as a sibset.
