[name_m]Mark[/name_m](my dad) + [name_u]Lou[/name_u] (his g-ma) +[name_m]Wayne[/name_m] (his g-pa) = [name_m]McLayne[/name_m]

I like [name_m]Jonah[/name_m] McLane [name_m]Smith[/name_m].

McLane is my preferred spelling.

I also like [name_m]Jonah[/name_m] best as the first name. There’s also [name_m]MacLean[/name_m]/[name_m]Maclean[/name_m] which is a common surname.

[name_m]Josiah[/name_m] [name_m]McLayne[/name_m] [name_m]Smith[/name_m] flows even better in my opinion-but [name_m]Jonah[/name_m] is a very handsome choice. :slight_smile:

[name_m]Jonah[/name_m] Mc… is great, but I’ve only ever seen the other name spelled [name_m]McLean[/name_m]/[name_m]MacLean[/name_m]. [name_m]McLayne[/name_m] with the ye looks kind of feminine to me, and McClain has an extra C so out of your spellings I’d go with McLane.
