Need some assistance with naming my character

Alright,

Hello there, and I hope your having a wonderful day. The reason why I’m here today is to ask any of you a favor with helping me name one of my female, child characters. Normally I wouldn’t have much of an issue with that but this time my character is going to be from an African country. Nevertheless there’s a catch, my character is taken in or adopted by one of the tribes. So maybe her name could relate to her being an outsider or something about her appearance. I still don’t want the name to be too confusing but I would like it to still be unique. I hope that I’m not asking too much and please get back to me if you can. :slight_smile: :slight_smile: :slight_smile:

Can you tell us what country she is from or what tribe takes her in?

If I’ll assume Swahili as a language, how about…

Mgeni (guest/stranger)
Binti (daughter)
Rangi (pale) (if her birth parents were not African)

Her birth parents are not African, sorry I didn’t specify that before. She’s going to be located in an Eastern African tribe and Swahili is just fine I’m not too picky on the language though. :stuck_out_tongue:

Well, Uhura’s first name is Nyota, but maybe [name_f]Tatiana[/name_f] I guess.
