I am new to actually posting on this forum, but have been name obsessed for years. To the point where I dont even like to talk about my someday baby names because it seems they eventually start to get popular or someone within my family takes them and I have to cross them off my list.
I plan to begin a family in the next 4 to 5 years and I am already taking into account family names, combinations, uniqueness and popularity. I would like some of your advice.
Here are some family names that I will have to consider:
Girls:
[name]Annette[/name] (my mom)
[name]Connie[/name] (his mom)
[name]Jean[/name] ([name]Both[/name] of our moms middle names)
[name]Carol[/name] (his grandmother)
[name]Darlene[/name] (his grandmother, but I hate this name with a passion and will never choose it)
[name]Ruth[/name] (my grandmother)
[name]Frances[/name] (his grandfather but I prefer using it for a girl name)
Boys:
[name]Tim[/name] (late uncle)
[name]John[/name] (his dad and grandfather)
Names I Have Always Liked:
[name]Jonah[/name] (favorite, favorite)
[name]Adeline[/name]
[name]Gretel[/name]
[name]Jeanette[/name] (Combo for moms maybe?)
What combinations or unique variations would you guys put together? I don’t like common names, but I don’t want anything too quirky that the teacher or grandmother would always have trouble pronouncing or spelling. Any feedback would be great. Thank you.
I love [name]Caroline[/name] [name]Jeanette[/name] or [name]Darla[/name] [name]Ruth[/name] for a girl. For a boy how about [name]Jonah[/name] [name]Timothy[/name] or [name]Timothy[/name] [name]John[/name].

[name]Caroline[/name] [name]Jeanette[/name] is very pretty, but I am still not completely sold on it as a first name. I like [name]Caroline[/name] more for a middle name, same for [name]Jeanette[/name]. I like [name]Adeline[/name] [name]Jeanette[/name]. [name]EDIT[/name]: lol I didn’t see [name]Jonah[/name] [name]Timothy[/name] was already suggested! And it’s definitely not too old. It’s a wonderful name that would grow with him! I could totally see a cute little boy with brown hair and blue eyes named [name]Jonah[/name] [name]Timothy[/name].
