We are on the verge (a matter of hours or days) from having baby #2.
Older brother is [name_u]Quincy[/name_u] [name_m]Baker[/name_m] C.
Names we are thinking of for a boy:
[name_m]Miles[/name_m]
[name_u]Keaton[/name_u]
[name_m]Holden[/name_m]
[name_u]Keegan[/name_u]
[name_m]Gideon[/name_m]
[name_m]Clayton[/name_m]
[name_u]Percy[/name_u]
[name_u]Sawyer[/name_u]
Middle names for boys (pronunciation in parentheses):
[name_m]Charles[/name_m]
[name_m]Matthew[/name_m]
[name_m]Walton[/name_m]
Levert (leh-vare)
Derbes (Dur-biss)
This is tough because you have a great name list! Of the first names, I would eliminate [name_u]Percy[/name_u] since it has the same ending as [name_u]Quincy[/name_u] and therefore feels a little matchy. Between [name_u]Keaton[/name_u] and [name_u]Keegan[/name_u], I think [name_u]Keaton[/name_u] goes better with [name_u]Quincy[/name_u] and fits the surname, southern-type feel that I feel [name_u]Quincy[/name_u] has. [name_m]Miles[/name_m] goes really well with [name_u]Quincy[/name_u]. You could eliminate [name_u]Keaton[/name_u], [name_u]Keegan[/name_u], and [name_m]Clayton[/name_m] to avoid the first name and last name having the same beginning sound of a hard C, but I don’t know if that bothers you. Personally, I don’t think it’s a big deal.
My personal favorites to go with [name_u]Quincy[/name_u]:

Thanks for the feedback - I actually kind of like the duplicated hard C sounds - [name_u]Quincy[/name_u] effectively has that sound and I like the alliteration.
I’d put [name_u]Keaton[/name_u] at the top of my picks. Then [name_u]Keegan[/name_u], then [name_m]Holden[/name_m]. I actually also like the repeating hard “C” sound. For a middle name, I think any of the suggestions would work. [name_u]Sawyer[/name_u]'s becoming more of a unisex name, at least where I am I’ve seen it used as a girl’s name. I don’t know whether that’s a factor for you.
There are some great names kn your list! With [name_u]Quincy[/name_u], I love:
[name_u]Keegan[/name_u]
[name_m]Miles[/name_m]
[name_u]Sawyer[/name_u]
[name_m]Holden[/name_m]
For middles I like [name_m]Charles[/name_m] and Levert
[name_u]Keaton[/name_u] and [name_m]Miles[/name_m] are my favourite. I like the jazz connection for [name_u]Quincy[/name_u] and [name_m]Miles[/name_m] and I think [name_u]Keaton[/name_u] and [name_u]Quincy[/name_u] sound great together.
I’d immediately strike [name_u]Percy[/name_u] because of the repeating sound with [name_u]Quincy[/name_u], and [name_m]Holden[/name_m] because it’s way too trendy [name_f]IMO[/name_f]. Next I’d toss [name_u]Keegan[/name_u] because out of the two K names, I think [name_u]Keaton[/name_u] is much better. [name_u]Sawyer[/name_u] is perfectly fine, but I also think it’s a bit fad-ish compared to [name_u]Quincy[/name_u].
That leaves:
[name_m]Miles[/name_m]
[name_u]Keaton[/name_u]
[name_m]Gideon[/name_m]
[name_m]Clayton[/name_m]
Four names with pretty different sounds, so maybe you could get it down to 2 or 3 and decide when you meet him? My personal favorite is [name_u]Keaton[/name_u] just because I think it’s a really cool name and I like how it sounds with [name_u]Quincy[/name_u]. [name_u]Quincy[/name_u] & [name_u]Keaton[/name_u] sound like brothers to me without their names being too match-y.
My votes for [name_u]Keegan[/name_u] [name_m]Matthew[/name_m] I think [name_u]Quincy[/name_u] & [name_u]Keegan[/name_u] sounds nice together.
[name_m]Gideon[/name_m] [name_m]Charles[/name_m] would be my next vote.
[name_m]Gideon[/name_m] and [name_m]Miles[/name_m] are my favorites by far. I’m not bothered by the alliteration, but I really don’t like any of the K or C names; I think they are not as distinguished as [name_u]Quincy[/name_u].
