I think we’ve settled on the first name [name]Corinne[/name] (kuh-RINN) which is surprisingly mild for my taste. That said, I would love a fun middle name to go with it. Some examples of middles that we like but don’t sound exactly right with [name]Corinne[/name] are [name]Bright[/name], [name]Fable[/name], [name]Dove[/name], [name]Holiday[/name], and [name]Gem[/name]. Also, our last name starts with a “K” so that leaves any names starting with a hard “C” or “K” out.
I figured with a sweet first name I could get away with a bit more in the middle.
Looking forward to your suggestions! Thanks!
[name]Corinne[/name] [name]Sequoia[/name]
[name]Corinne[/name] [name]Morning[/name]
[name]Corinne[/name] [name]Sunshine[/name]
[name]Corinne[/name] [name]Lilac[/name] (might be a little bit too mild for your taste, but I think it sounds really nice!)
[name]Corinne[/name] Song
[name]Corinne[/name] [name]Poet[/name]
[name]Corinne[/name] [name]Zipporah[/name]
[name]Corinne[/name] Anthem
Great suggestions!
I do like word names but I guess I’m not gutsy enough to use one as a first name. Here are the ones that jumped out at me at first glance:
[name]Corrine[/name] [name]Nova[/name]
[name]Corrine[/name] [name]Lilac[/name] (it does sound great, thanks!)
[name]Corrine[/name] [name]Petunia[/name]
[name]Corrine[/name] [name]Story[/name]
[name]Corrine[/name] [name]Viola[/name] (Well done! [name]Viola[/name] was my grandmother’s name - she recently passed and I hadn’t thought about using it until now)
Keep them coming if you’ve got them. I’ll need a good sized list to throw at my husband. Thanks all!
I should probably add, while I love word names for the middle spot I also like spunky ones like [name]Trixie[/name] or [name]Daisy[/name]. I think [name]Petunia[/name] also has the same feel to it.
“[name]Bright[/name]” & “[name]Holiday[/name]” —> [name]Corinne[/name] [name]Estrella[/name] (Spanish word for star, as in the star appearing to the wise men before the birth of [name]Christ[/name])
I wanted to add that I have an awesome 80 plus friend with the name [name]Corinne[/name]. She’s a shepherdess, and an inspiration to all who know her. Great choice!
[name]Corinne[/name] [name]Sage[/name] ([name]Sage[/name] obviously means wisdom in English but in [name]German[/name] it means myth. Which is sort of similar to [name]Fable[/name]).
[name]Corinne[/name] [name]Echo[/name]
[name]Corinne[/name] [name]Lyric[/name]
[name]Corinne[/name] [name]Noelle[/name] (might be tame but you had [name]Holiday[/name] and [name]Noelle[/name] = [name]Christmas[/name])
[name]Corinne[/name] [name]Pilot[/name]
[name]Corinne[/name] [name]Fae[/name] (spelled like this if you like the Irish fairy myths, or [name]Fay[/name] if you just like the sound)
[name]Corrine[/name] [name]Erie[/name]
