My hubby and I are expecting our first in two months!! We’ve decided to keep the sex a secret and we’re having a few problems with picking out names.

Rannen – Sounds a bit made up, but it’s from the movie [name]Willow[/name] and I’ve been obsessed with it forever!

… We need help with girls names! My husband doesn’t know if he’s completely for [name]Briar[/name].

I love [name]Briar[/name], though probably largely because of a positive association with the only [name]Briar[/name] I have met - a beautiful, unique, independent woman. I worry that the “r” a the end would always be confused for an “n,” but that’s not a huge deal. I think it’s feisty and kind of pretty at the same time.
I’m wondering if you would like [name]Brenna[/name] for a girl? [name]Briar[/name] is pretty - the first thing I think of is Sleeping Beauty! I also think [name]Brielle[/name] is lovely.

[name]Weston[/name] and [name]Morgan[/name] are my faves from your boy list. [name]Briar[/name] is a very cool choice, I read the book The [name]Briar[/name] [name]Rose[/name] in high school so it reminds me of that. Some other names you might like

For boys, I love [name]Simon[/name]! [name]Judah[/name] and [name]Weston[/name] are also nice. And although [name]Morgan[/name]'s not a personal fave, I am happy to see someone who might use it on a boy. I only ever knew one [name]Morgan[/name], and she was a girl…the name feels like such a strong male name to me!
I [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Briar[/name]! So pretty. I also love the similar names [name]Briony[/name] and [name]Briallen[/name].
